I have been paying astronomical costs for my fuzzy baby's food to help her IBS. At first it was the Royal Canin Ultamino. Then the company went through some bizarre problems with providing it. Shipping issues. I don't know. So we went to the next level down, the Hydrolyzed Protein, and that worked. But they are so awfully expensive. She also has bad teeth, bad mouth flora is what I'm told, and she's had 2 surgeries now to remove problem teeth. So, naturally, dry food had to be put in hold, and she withdraws not eat the wet food for the Hydrolyzed. So, I was mashing up the dry, and putting it over some other wet food til she healed. I then started looking for a soft dry food and saw this Purina One, Tender Selects. It was at the top of the list for best soft dry foods for cats, and it also mentioned having good gut biome for tender bellies. So I thought I would try it. 1. She loved it. 2. Right away it gave her regular stools. I couldn't believe it. Even without transitioning from the other food. So. I am so thankful to have found this food. I hope to heavens that they don't change it. Whatever they are doing, it's right.

BoB's former two-leggeds had him on another of Purina's adequate dry recipes; I had researched often in the past for many other non-h roomies so was pretty familiar with the cost as well as quality of the brands I've come to trust. In the 2+ years since he rescued me (that's right!) I've discovered his major preference of being obvious and definitely partial to >>feathered<< prey; the chicken version praised as "perfection in a bag"... actual translation of quote from BoB~ 'no kitten' {and here come the Pun Police} :o)
Great for elderly cats with teeth issues
I used this for the last 3-4 years of my kitty’s time on earth, she had to have dental surgery and teeth removed so she needed a soft kibble along with her wet food
I used this for the last 3-4 years of my kitty’s time on earth, she had to have dental surgery and teeth removed so she needed a soft kibble along with her wet food. The kibble is pretty flat instead of round and it’s ‘tender’ so it’s thin and soft for easy crunching. If you need something for your cat with dental issues, this food is genuinely the only one I recommend. She really liked the taste too, and she was a friskies wet food addict, so it’s GOTTA taste good lol. Now that she’s crossed the rainbow bridge, this is the only healthy ingredient kibble my other cats like too. They actually prefer munching this throughout the day over wet food in the morning. It’s good stuff, worth the price tag.

Over a short period of this the cats of course multiplied and not there are several. My grandson is a trucker and a Batchlor but he will always leave food for these homeless kitty cats. So, my purchase of two 22 pounds of Purina One Selects Blend with real chicken etc. was purchased to help feed these abandoned kitties. I don't live near my grandson so I will drive this much needed for to him for these poor cats and kittens. Thank you very much Chewy for the discount given to me for being a first-time buyer and later I was offered a 30% certificate. So, with my appreciation I took advantage of this great savings, and this will help feed these left behind precious feral kitties..

They're very well taken care of and I appreciate the openness that Purina has about this and it's products. My cats always eat this, they eat the chicken and sometimes I buy a smaller bag of Salmon, but they don't like the salmon in our 28lh capacity! My cats only throw up when they eat too fast, we don't have issues EVER w the food. Always a product and company worth supporting. STL homebase!

We have it noted that they are to drop off near our house - not the road - and they've been leaving our boxes near the mailbox and the end of our driveway. We've had snow but we have a plow service that comes and clears everything. Both times the driver could've made it up our driveway. If it weren't for the FedEx alert picture we would've just thought it wasn't being delivered.

Just adopted a 2 1/2 year old cat named Beatrice, who was originally on IAMS Weight Control. At the shelter, she was on Purina One, but I was worried about weight gain; so I have been trying to find a food she likes since she is SO picky! She does have chronic ear problems, so after bringing her to the vet for her yearly shots; we found out she had an ear infection and also had lost 4 pounds because she hated IAMS Weight Control so much. So after getting her medication, I ordered this food because I noticed she liked wet cat food A LOT and this gives me the best of both worlds without buying both wet and dry food... I received it on Saturday, after ordering it Friday afternoon, which is absolutely amazing! I got to say this website has got to have one if not the best shipping speeds I've ever seen. It may be $4.95 for orders under $49 but the speed they get your items to you in rocket speed and in my opinion is totally worth it!! Plus the way it is packaged is also great. The only downside this time, which I've never had before was that the bag didn't seem factory sealed like I've seen usually, but was sealed with packaging tape it looked like. It seemed clean and smelled fine though, so I decided to use it. It's been about a day and a half since she started it, and she has been gobbling it down. I think we finally found a winner!!! Definitely recommend for picker cats, or for those who love the taste of wet cat food. Keep doing the great work Chewy!! Love your site!!
