Purina ONE SmartBlend Grain-Free True Instinct Classic Ground with Real Chicken & Duck Canned Dog Food, 13-oz, case of 12

This was an easy product to try. We have 2 young labs. We do not provide them a strictly "grain free"diet, but I often but wet food that happens to be labeled as such. Most people with big dogs use wet food as a kibble topper or for use in treats (like a kong or licky mat) as trying to feed a big dog enough cans of wet food (3-4) on a daily basis to meet nutritional needs would break the bank. It's pretty calorie dense at 483 per can, which can be good or bad depending on your dogs caloric needs. And so for us, my big babies enjoy a little on their food. My boy is so picky, but doesn't hate this. My girl isn't picky and of course likes this. Sometimes I have made a broth from wet food. This is thick but a little juicy. It's ground not pasty. So when I do add water, it's still a little chunky.They don't care, I don't care. We use a variety of brands, including Uber pricey boutique foods for our 2 dogs & 3 cats, and we always have something by Purina in our food pantry. Never had any issue with this brand. We received one can in exchange for an honest review. I write no other type.
