A real life saver

My puppy Sweet Pea is about 12 weeks old now. Up until around the 9 week point she ate puppy food just fine. Then for whatever reason she started refusing to eat

My puppy Sweet Pea is about 12 weeks old now. Up until around the 9 week point she ate puppy food just fine. Then for whatever reason she started refusing to eat it. The first thing we had her eating was Purina puppy chow (which I also recommend, all other puppies I've ever taken care of have done well with it) we usually chose that because it's the most readily available puppy food in my small town. In fact it's one of only 2. When she refused to eat it anymore I searched for another option. All I found was pedigree puppy food. She ate but not nearly enough. Maybe half a cup a day if I was lucky. My local options were exhausted. My sweet puppy was now losing weight and attempting to steal human food and adult dog food from her dog friends (all of which are adults and fully vaccinated) I was at the end of my rope. I didn't know what to do. So I turned to chewy. This food (adult version) happens to be a favorite of one of my puppies dog friends. And yes my pup loved to try and snatch it. I was so excited to get this delivered. It gave me hope that she would finally eat an entire bowl of food without a huge fuss. And she did! She loves it. I've never seen her eat with so much excitement. This is a fantastic food for both picky dogs AND picky puppies. I will continue to buy her this food as long as she eats it. Thank you Purina. And thank you chewy. My puppo sends big smiles for helping me find her a new food she loves.

We’ve been feeding Purina ONE +Plus High Protein Healthy Puppy Formula to our puppy Magnolia and it’s been a great fit for her. She loves the taste and eats it right up every time. The high protein formula has been great for supporting her growth and energy while she’s in full puppy mode. Her coat looks healthy and she’s been doing really well on it. Overall it’s been a solid puppy food and we’re really happy with it.

Hope It Lasts!

We have a 14 week old puppy, who isnt gaining weight the best and is the WORST picky eater- ever! We had him on a very pricey food, and it was always a challenge to feed him. His fur had even started thinning out. Because we had tried 2 different dry foods with no luck, we assumed he just didn't really like dog food. We tried mixing kibble with wet food, bone broth, raw tuna, hand feeding, and putting it on the floor because we thought MAYBE he hated dog bowls. We tried EVERYTHING. I was so stressed all the time, and he would not eat more than 8 pieces of kibble or so at meal times. The whole "he will eat when he is hungry" thing that people tell you was not the case for us. One day, I was at work and came acrossed this food (the adult version) for the dog that lives there. DESPERATE and on day 2 of my pup not eating a thing, I put a handful of it on the ground. Within minutes, he ate 3 large handfuls- mind you he weighs less than 3lbs. I cried happy tears, and immediately went to the pet store to buy the puppy version. And again, he ate! We're now on day 2 and PRAYING he continues to eat.. its time he gained some weight! Miracle food!

I started my puppy on this food when we first adopted her at 9weeks. She's a pitty and she LOVES it. Of course she eats the chicken pieces first and then the rest,

I started my puppy on this food when we first adopted her at 9weeks. She's a pitty and she LOVES it. Of course she eats the chicken pieces first and then the rest, but none the less she eats it all. I try to stay on schedule with feeding but I also don't let the bowl completely empty. She is quite active and gets hungry fast...and BOY is she growing!!! My father-in-laws beagle eats small bites beef and she sometimes snacks on that. It is nice because they are both great formulas and similar in size so she eats well.

Recommended by my vet as a top 10 choice, unlike other vets I got a list of many different foods to do my due diligence. I read all the labels and ingredients and decided to try the Purina brand. My puppy can't get enough of it. She is doing well and growing like a weed. Vet said she is right where she is supposed to be for a 4 month old. Thanks. Vet said I made a good choice. I never want but the best for my girl. .

Delivery of dog food

Package was left at bottom of steps. It contains 2 bags of dog food that weigh over 31 lbs each. Maybe you should not put both bags in the same box if the driver

Package was left at bottom of steps. It contains 2 bags of dog food that weigh over 31 lbs each. Maybe you should not put both bags in the same box if the driver cannot put it on the porch. I am now waiting for my neighbor to come and help me with it when she gets off work. She works at Lowes standing on her feet all day. I am sure she is tired after working all day. She probably has better things to do then help me get 2 bags of dog food up my steps.

Whenever I pour open this bag of food into his airtight food bin, I am ABSOLUTELY AMAZED by the amount of chunks of still fresh chicken. It's not that hard kibble, dried out chicken, but huge straps and chunks of still mushable/breakable, (for those, like me, who use them as treats) pieces of chicken. I have tried him on other Purina Puppy and he gets so sick. He is older than one right now, but I believe in giving this food until 2 years; everyone is different 🙂. It's the only thing that keeps his stomach settled, his fur shiny and ON HIM, and it's a joy to open a bag of "HIGH Protein Food" and be flooded with actual protein. Please see the attached picture. Your puppy/over 1 year old, would love it! The people ar Chewy will also help you change your dog over from puppy to young adult, slowly and in a way where they understand your dogs' needs. I love them and this food. I can't say enough so I'll stop myself LOL. Thank you to the li d souls at Chewy.

perfect for our pittie pup!

Our pit/Border collie mix LOVES this food and is a super picky eater so that’s saying a lot! Her vet recommended this brand to us after we adopted her at 10 weeks old. Here she is at 20 weeks old and she’s gained a little over 10lbs, is lean and fit, her coat is shiny and her energy is amazing!
