Also I recommend giving half a cup in the morning and half a cup in the evening and wait a half an hour for them to go out to jump around and play because GDV is no joke My dog's stomach flipped last year and I thought I was going to lose him. It's the stomach getting bloated and twisting and they can die from it very quickly. You can do the feeding you can also soak the food so this is so this way it doesn't blow them or give them less in the morning and less in the evening and also I bought these bulls on chewy that are in the picture keeping the food up keeping the dog from jumping up on anything cuz that's how it happened he jumped on my bed after he ate and bam his stomach flipped. Picked this food out for my two German Shepherds, when their previous senior food from a different brand had been making them sick. This food doesn't make them sick, and it keeps their apatite stimulated. They usually become bored with a food and don't want to eat it. But this one is exciting to them with the different kibbles and chicken bits. BOTH dogs are now very eager to eat, waiting at their bowls during food times. My one shepherd at 8 years old is just now starting to show signs of her hips bothering her. But since eating this food, she has had a ton of energy and her mobility range has been great.
