This recipe has a carbohydrate content of 0.50% on an as-fed basis (2.2% on a dry matter basis).

What is the % dry matter phosphorus and magnesium? What type of fish is used in the “ocean whitefish” and the “fish” in the ingredient list?

This formula has a Phosphorus content of 1.88% on a dry matter basis and Magnesium content of 0.12% on a dry matter basis. Real fish is the meat from a variety of fish, like trout, salmon, pollock or cod. The ocean whitefish is the meat from a variety of white fish, like cod, halibut and pollock that are naturally sourced from the ocean.

finally something she can eat..... in bulk!!!

my cat has about a billion allergies, most prominently grain, and beef. the purina one grain free wet food has been the only food ive been able to give her that hasnt made her sick. however, up until now ive had to buy each can individually, since in stores ive only been able to find boxes that contain the beef flavor. so being able to buy the whitefish, chicken and turkey flavors in bulk here have been a lifesaver... she is finally starting to get her weight up and is looking a lot healthier since ive found a food that works for her and now i can get a bunch at once!!

My cat loves this food! She can be picky with most wet foods (ex. Wants nothing to do with the beef or chicken flavors) but polishes this one off every time!

We all know how finicky kitties can be about their food. This may have been a life saver for my oldest kitty. She had become an occasional nibbler eating maybe half a can of any kind of wet food a day. When I gave her a taste of this, she said, "oh please, mommy, may I have some more?" She ended up eating 3 whole cans of this during the day. Good soft ground food for older kitties and all cats!

My kitties (6) eat both with grain and as a change in palate, grain free. Ask your vet is grain free BETTER KING TERM if cat (s) are thriving on reg canned food

My kitties (6) eat both with grain and as a change in palate, grain free. Ask your vet is grain free BETTER KING TERM if cat (s) are thriving on reg canned food. Unless there’s a medical ( short or long term), the grain free may be just the owner’s choice. Protein appears to be the biggest ingredient in both ( from my research) TAURINE is a very important ingredient for all cats . Gave grain free as just an added T to reg food for a change in taste for them.

Very unhappy cat mom here. I purchased this PurinaOne whitefish pate both in February and April 2023. All 3 of my cats LOVED it, so I purchased 4 cases at the beginning of May (wanted the food delivered before the heat of summer, as cats do not like cans that have been sitting in hot delivery trucks...) After cats gobbled up remaining food from prior order, I opened one of the cans delivered in May. All 3 cats sniffed and refused to eat it. At the end of the day had to throw that can of food out. Have tried 3 other cans from that batch (# 3020 1162, best before Jan 2025) after intermittently feeding other food which my cats happily eat, and have had to throw out every single can. Something clearly changed in this batch.
