Is this food acceptable for dogs with hear5h issues?

Infested with bugs

I have not reached out to the company before posting. I dont care about being compensated plus I cannot prove it arrived this way. However, I do want folks to be aware so they do not feed their pets this food if they see white patches on some of the pieces of kibble, not the entire bag, be alert and check your fur babies food. I pulled apart the kibble pieces trying to figure out what may have got mixed in with the kibble recipe since I hadn't seen the parches before. Clearly something was wrong. Turns out the white patches were the location of the maggots that had burrowed in and seemed dormant until I cut them open. The bag had been store in a clean dry space inside the house. I cant say 100% there wasn't a hole in the bag or if It got delivered this way, it was delivered directly to my door. I didnt see any holes and had to use scissors to open as usual. The entire bag just got thrown out. I may not order from here again since this makes my skin crawl. I imagine an insect made its way in during packing. It may be a one off.

My dog is the pickiest eater in the world. We rescued him and he is adorable. Shih-Tzu & Terrier mix. We tried all kinds of dog food and finally he would eat only Fresh Pet, dry food was thrown in the garbage many nights. We tried all kinds. We got a kitten and a cat owner friend told us to feed her Purina One for Kittens, She did so well on it, I decided to try Purina One for the dog. He eats that even without wet food.So now, I buy only Purina One these small bites and Purina One for the cat (no longer a kitten) and both are doing fantastic.

Let me just say I have the world’s pickiest dog. My dog is a grazer and that is fine by me. However in other dog foods he would pick out the meaty bites and leave the rest in his bowl. I don’t know what it is but for some reason the small bites beef and rice is his favorite. He leaves his bowl looking like it’s been empty all day! As for the cheap pricing, I must say I was a little worried. However, no damage to bags and expiration dates are two years away! We get everything from Chewy. And oh do the animals know! P.S. this picture so needs a caption but I couldn’t think of a good enough one! Thank you Chewy!

My dogs love this food!

For over a year my Jack Chi, who is now 3 years old would barely touch the food I was giving her. It would take 3 days to eat the amount of food she was supposed

For over a year my Jack Chi, who is now 3 years old would barely touch the food I was giving her. It would take 3 days to eat the amount of food she was supposed to be eating in a day, I tried many different foods in that time hoping she would eat normally. Because of that she was very skinny and had to go to the vet's because she was low on sodium and something else making her get sicker easier. I finally switched to this one and I have not changed her food in over a year now because she eats all or most of her food every day. She is now a healthy weight and she hasn't been getting sick so much either.

I gave this to both of my dogs, but I was particularly curious about how my Weimaraner would do with it… he practically inhales his food and ends up throwing it

I gave this to both of my dogs, but I was particularly curious about how my Weimaraner would do with it… he practically inhales his food and ends up throwing it right back up - whole. While this isn’t an intention of the product, the small bits made him have to slow down! Both dogs love this food. It has small kibble and some nice meaty bits in it. We love this brand and may have found a new favorite purina one food.
