Feed 1 treat for each 15 pounds of body weight, not to exceed 5 treats per day. The caloric intake from treats should not exceed 10% of a dog's total daily caloric requirement. If treats are given, the amount of food should be reduced accordingly.

Then we observe the following ritual; a 1/2 Beggin' Strip for business well done outside, a whole Beggin' Strip at bed time broken into smaller pieces that make the joy last longer, and then 2 Milkbones. One Milkbone she eats right away. The other she sleeps with for a midnight snack later on. Ah! Such joy for everyone!

All three of my dogs; Thor, Delilah, and Nina absolutely loved the Purina Beggin' Strips Thick Cut Hickory Smoke Flavor adult dog treats. Before I even opened the pouch, my dogs were surrounding me and beggin' for these treats. When I opened the pouch, the aroma of the hickory smoke was amazing to their noses. The treats were the perfect size for all of my dogs. My dogs are 75, 45, and 12 pounds. My 12 pounder, I did have to break the treat in half for her, but she was able to eat it with ease. I like that these treats were not too difficult or hard for her older teeth. I am on my way to purchase these treats because I know that they will chew them and enjoy. *****I did receive this product complementary in exchange for my honest opinion.*****

She absolutely loves these treats! She is completely motivated to do anything and everything she is supposed to do, and do it correctly and fast in order to get her treat! This is our first time trying this flavor and we went through the whole bag. My dogs have always loved the original Beggin' Strips; the treats look like bacon and smells like real meat. This kind is a bit thicker and has a smokier scent. The strips are a perfect size for a medium/large dog, and you can easily rip into smaller pieces depending on your needs. I have to break them otherwise, my dog would swallow them whole because she loves him so much. They look and smell like the real thing so my dog feels like one of us.
