I have a Yorkie and unfortunately this breed is notorious for bad teeth. He’s only 4 but our vet recommended a $1,500 teeth cleaning because he had quite a bit of buildup. He hates it when I brush his teeth, will not hold still, so I had pretty much resigned to doing the procedure but figured I’d try one more thing. OMG this actually works! I saw a difference in his teeth within days and today I held his head and tried to scrape some of the tartar off his k-9 and it just fell off. I can’t believe it. He has perfectly healthy white teeth after 1.5 weeks on these chews. I give him one every evening after his last walk. I’m one of those “I don’t write reviews people” but had to get the word out about this amazing product! Saved me a lot of $$!

Went to drive way and found the box and was opened. Then found the chewed up container. The javelinas got them. New meaning of your company name Chewys . Javelinas in my neighborhood have the cleanest teeth.

Pleasantly Surprised

My dog is a mid sized mutt around 35 pounds and had a lot of plaque build up for how young she is (3years). We have not been successful brushing her teeth as recommended

My dog is a mid sized mutt around 35 pounds and had a lot of plaque build up for how young she is (3years). We have not been successful brushing her teeth as recommended so I decided to give these a try. We just finished the first tub we got so she has been taking them twice a day for the last 45 days. I have noticed a significant improvement in her breath as well as a significant decrease of plaque. I am kicking myself for not taking before and after photos but these definitely worked for my dog. Can’t wait to go to the vet again and see what the vet says!

These are the best invention! My dog loves these. They magically make his teeth clean and white. He’s been on them for almost a year and there’s no tarter build up. When I started him on them, his teeth were brown. It took a few months before they looked white, and my vet was very surprised at how good they looked. After I started these, he no longer needs a vet cleaning. I highly recommend!

My dog was a senior when we adopted him and in the three years we've had him he's had 4 dental cleanings. His last one he lost a canine and two molars and it was very expensive. I looked around for something to help keep his teeth cleaner and found the powder version of this on the VOHC website. I knew he wouldn't eat a powder so I decided to try this instead. We started these a couple months after his dental and they've kept his teeth in much better shape. I put it in with his food once a day and he eats it right up. His breath still isn't great but considering all his dental issues it's still remarkable. I have and will continue to recommend this product. And the price is pretty reasonable too.

For the past year and a half, I have been using the plaque off powder mixed into my dog's food. It did nothing. I didn't buy these because the reviews said they were hard. I finally decided to try and I have been throwing one in each of my dog's meals for about 2.5 weeks. From day one, his breath smelled about 90% better. At first I thought I was imagining it but here it is almost 3 weeks later and his breath is SOOO much better. Not sure about the teeth. Oh, and they are easily squished with a spoon so I dont find them hard at all. In fact, I would equate them to the VetClassics Joint Support Plus Hip & Joint Support Soft Chews Dog Supplements in hardness. My dog is 10 and a half and doesn't have great teeth.

It's working!

We have a 10-yr old Chi/Yorkie mix that had horrible breath. We took her to the vet to see what was going on and were told she has terrible tartar on her back teeth

I bought these for my 35 lb mutt, 10 lb mini labradoodle and 65 lb Chocolate Lab (who is a garbage gut and nothing seems to upset her stomaxh) . These keep their teeth and breath clean. For my older lab who had major plaque build up, it has her teeth looking faulous. Probably took closer to 2 months to eradicate original build up, but her teeth look amazing now. No issues with digestion or intestinal issues. As with most food/supplements each animal may tolerate it differently. Thankfully all three of mine have done very well.
