What is the maximum fat % when it’s rehydrated?

The recipes are formulated to target the minimum fat content that is provided in the Guaranteed Analysis, any deviation from this as-fed percentage would be minimal. Please speak with your veterinarian to ensure this value is low enough to be a suitable diet for your pet.

Can you rehydrate in advance?

I have had 6 Papillons and found Primal about 6 years ago. They have all loved it especially my little girls (both 5 lbs of less). It has been a life saver as they have gotten older and picky eats the Primal Turkey & Sardine Formula is one they will always eat. My last little girl is 16+ and down to 2.5 lbs. Without Primal Turkey & Sardine Formula she wouldn't be here. This food is helping keep my baby girl here with me!!!

Great And Healthy

I have a 9 yr old Yorkie. He has so many allergies and has been on a very strict prescription diet. My other Yorkie died last month from pancreatitis. I am determined

I have a 9 yr old Yorkie. He has so many allergies and has been on a very strict prescription diet. My other Yorkie died last month from pancreatitis. I am determined to keep my others as healthy as possible. I have them on this Primal even though it is costing me more than I can really afford. They refused to eat it for two day but on the third day they caved and now they like it. They eat the Turkey and Sardine very well and the Pork but did not like the Chicken. Oliver has nearly stopped his itching and paw licking. Their bowels look better now. I think I have a great food for them. I have a Yorkie, Biewer Terrier and a Havanese. My picky Shiba Inu loves the Turkey & Sardine Primal Raws Freeze-Dried nuggets. It's been a lot of trial and error because he is very picky, and also has allergy to chicken, or itchy skin in general. He lost a lot of weight, but feeding him these nuggets as toppers on top of his kibble, got him back to a healthy 20lb weight! I love that the ingredients are organic proteins, organic fruits and veggies, and vitamins/antioxidants for his health. My Shiba actually gets his meals right away, when I feed him this.

I have bought this before and the first time I got a bag it was great no complaints at all.. But the past 2 bags that I have bought have been mashed all up like

I have bought this before and the first time I got a bag it was great no complaints at all.. But the past 2 bags that I have bought have been mashed all up like they have been sat on and this last bag was the worst. It didn’t only look like it had been sat on it had all kinds of Little Rock’s in it. I had to pick these little brown rocks out each time I feed her.. The only reason I gave this a star is because my little fur baby (Zoey) Loves The Turkey & Sardine it is one of her favorite flavors.. But I will not buy it from Chewy any more, I’m not paying over $30.00 for Crumbs and Rocks I hate that I will have to go to the local pet supply to get it, because I love the convenience of her food being delivered to me...

You would think they were starving even though we keep the Fromm's down 24/7, which they also eat. I would highly recommend Turkey & Sardine Formula. Will be trying out other brands this week.

He will eat fast and exited! If you’re feeding a puppy I suggest to make it soupy! Add more water than the bag recommendation. Picture after an amazing meal!

Hello, I have 4 dogs and 2 cats, and everyone is on a different diet. My senior Shih-Tzu has been on Primal for a couple of years. She loves it and can't wait until Breakfast and Dinner. She has a smoochy face and so I break up the primal and she eats it all without making her face a stinky mess. We love it. If you saw Jolee you would think she is 4 or 5. I believe this almost 10 year old girl looks so great because of her healthy diet.

My mini Aussie is an *****extremely***** picky eater when it comes to dog food (and even treats) but he *LOVES* this so much it makes us both so happy. My gsd puppy wants this too, and she is also picky about dog food. We go through this bag very fast and I've ordered so many bags thus far, so only complaint I have is that it is very expensive when you have to buy so many bags so often. I'd say at least 2 bags a month for him and that's just for a morning feeding for my mini aussie only.

Should have started sooner

I have 4 Yorkies. My dogs were all previously on kibble, both for convenience and cost. Two of my Yorkies are 12 years old and within the last year they started showing obvious health issues. The vet bills have been in the thousands. A couple of months ago I did some research and decided to switch from kibble to Primal. Since feeding Primal the health of my Yorkies has improved dramatically! I cannot believe the difference in their appearance and health! I wish I would have started them with Primal sooner! I will pay for this premium dog food if it keep my pets as healthy as possible rather than have sick dogs that require excessive vet care. Nutrition makes a big difference!
