Both the chicken and the beef flavors were hits with both of my beagles. They have pieces of real food like green beans and peas. The food arrived frozen, it was packaged very well with dry ice. We’ve been having very hot weather so I was concerned about the shipping, but it was great! I used the food as toppers instead of giving my dogs just this food because they are used to dry kibble and I didn’t want to upset their stomachs. We had no problem with a few tablespoons added to their regular food.

Great topper that my dogs love !

I have 2 dogs a 12 year old dachshund mix and a 10 year old pug mix both need low fat food due to pancreatitis issues. I chose the pet plate chicken and beef flavors as a topper on their kibble. My dogs love it! We have been using it for a couple weeks now. They have tolerated it added to their diets and really love it. It stores well in the freezer and defrosts in the refrigerator usually within 24 hours. It is fresh and has healthy ingredients. You can see and identify the meat and veggies. I feel good giving this to my dogs as a topper on their kibble to add variety. My cats even try to sneak a taste !!!!!

I was skeptical ordering fresh food in summer but this arrived frozen solid when the outside temp was 100° I'm using it as a top dress over dry kibble. I was going

I was skeptical ordering fresh food in summer but this arrived frozen solid when the outside temp was 100° I'm using it as a top dress over dry kibble. I was going to drop a star rating when my picky eater turned her nose up but mixed with kibble she eats it readily. My hound dog loved it out of the box but at 60+ lbs it's too expensive to feed her fresh daily. I'm using it as an occasional treat for her. You can see the vegetables in it, it looks like stew. If your looking for a fresh food for your dog I think this is a good choice. I think the price is competitive with others of it's type.

Rusty is 6 1/2 year old and has been on a strictly PetPlate diet for almost 2 years. Before PetPlate he had runny stools, and major issues with inability to have normal bowel movements. He was somewhat listless most days and my vet suggested looking into gently cooked food. I began a search for the right food for Rusty in early February 2023. I decided to try PetPlate and Rusty's reaction to the food was simply amazing. He immediately started gobbling his first helping of the Chicken lightly cooked food. After two weeks he started throwing his metal bowl across the floor when he wanted more food (several times per day not including his normal feeding twice per day). The difference in Rusty is remarkable - now he wants to play fetch at least twice a day for 30-45 minutes per session. Additionally, there is no bowel mess to clean up (his stool is hard and grey in color instead of runny and gross smelling. His breath is sweet and his temperament is just wonderful. He loves the chicken, beef, and pork varieties the most and has not eaten anything other than PetPlate for past 22 months. His last vet exam was 1 month ago and he received a glowing report (his vet said "I've never seen a dog as healthy with such a strong heart in my entire career of over 15 years" Happy dog, happy owner. I highly recommend PetPlate - they have not had any problem with my deliveries of every 3 weeks, they communicate, they are very transparent, and last but not least they care about our wonderful dogs. I know they are fairly expensive but Rusty hates kibble and I feel I'm getting what I am paying for - peace of mind that the food is correct for Rusty's health and happiness.

I got chicken and beef to try. I have two dogs. A toy fox terrier and a picky toy poodle. My terrier has food sensitivity. She did really well on this food. Didn’t seem to make her lick her paws more. The added bonus was that she really loved the food and licked her bowl clean. My poodle ate some of the beef. But he preferred his kibble. I should add he is a weird little dog. He doesn’t like wet food of any kind, dislikes most dog treats. So it isn’t an indicator the food wasn’t good, he’s just a weirdo. My cat managed to steal some from the toy poodle and really liked it as well.

This product I used as a food topper for my 3 huskies to try. The first day, I did not heat it up and 2 of my dogs ate it but my oldest did not. The next day, I heated it up and they all ate it. I like that this is a high-quality food with no fillers or byproducts. This would be a great idea to use for a picky dog giving someone a hard time to eat. If my dogs did not have to be on a Rx diet, I would consider using this product. It is a healthy and tasty meal for your pups.

The packaging was excellent. The food arrived frozen solid even when delivered during a hot and humid week. The box was well insulted and had a separate box of dry ice. The food looks just as good in person as it does online. I used it as a topper to my dogs' regular food and they were both very interested when I opened the containers. They ate up both the beef and chicken flavors with zero hesitation.
