Can Pet plate food for dogs be split up per serving and does it have to be frozen or refrigerated?

This food should be stored in the freezer and thawed in the fridge. Keep food in the fridge for up to 7 days. Re-seal and refrigerate unused portions. Portion your pup's plate according to their feeding requirements. Food can be heated on the stove top or microwave if desired.

I love the container as I can add a portion of it as a topping to my dog's bowl of kibble, stir it up, and she loves it. It keeps in the fridge for a few days and works really well. My only request is that the food itself be less "shredded" in texture as it makes it harder to scoop out in smaller portions. But overall, the best fresh food I've found for our Vizsla b/c it is dividable into portions and the containers works very well in the fridge!

The Petplate comes frozen and is so much better looking and so easy to put the lid back on the plastic container and store in the fridge. Nutritious meal for sensitive tummies

As a dog mom with pups of stomach sensitivities I will say that after feeding this none of them had upset tummies. You can just tell that it is made of good quality

As a dog mom with pups of stomach sensitivities I will say that after feeding this none of them had upset tummies. You can just tell that it is made of good quality ingredients. Came well packaged with the dry ice and still frozen. Was very easy to thaw. One of my pups was a bit apprehensive at first but they all cleaned their bowls. I do have Siberian Huskies so on the larger dog side. I will say my only complaint is that it doesn’t smell the greatest to the human nose but the dogs seemed to enjoy it. Overall a great nutritious product.

I have been trying to find fresh dog food options to use as toppers for my 3 dogs. I have tried ordering directly through one of the subscription brands. My dogs LOVED that one, but I really wanted something that I could order as needed through Chewy. Unfortunately my guys didn’t care for this. I love the ingredients and the packaging and REALLY wanted them to love it, but they all walked away from the food. Back to the drawing board.
