Feeding Instructions
FreshBaked: Feed 1/3 cup per 10 lbs of body weight as a complete meal twice per day for adult dogs.
FreshCooked: As a Complete Meal - For dogs up to 10 lbs, serve up to 6 oz of food daily. For dogs over 10 lbs, serve 4 oz for every 10 lbs of body weight daily. As a Topper - Mix with your dog's current food starting at about 25% of required calories, adjusting as needed.
Puppies, and dogs who are pregnant or lactating may need up to twice the amount of calories for the same bodyweight.
PetPlate’s entrees can be fed as a complete meal or as a topper. For a successful transition as a complete meal, we recommend mixing PetPlate with your pup’s current food and gradually increasing the amount of PetPlate until your dog is eating 100% PetPlate. For the first few days, PetPlate should make up ¼ of each meal. If your dog is not easily adjusting or experiences minor tummy troubles, stay on that transition stage for an extra few days to allow them more time to adjust. As your dog adjusts, continue adding a greater ratio of PetPlate, until they have fully transitioned.

This is my first time trying human-grade, frozen dog food and I’m impressed. My dog, a Malinois, isn’t a particularly picking dog but she gobbled up both the beef and venison meals enthusiastically. The downside is that the portion size isn’t enough for her, as she’s around 60lbs and was still hungry afterwards. I gave her the dry kibbles, but she ate that with less enthusiasm. The frozen food is a good supplement to her normal wet food and the kibbles are a nice addition to help fill her up, but it would definitely be pricing for those on a budget to feed their dog just the frozen food, especially if they have a larger dog like mine. I am impressed with the quality of ingredients, however, so overall I do recommend this product, especially to those with smaller or medium sized dogs.

This was my first time using PetPlate but it won't be my last! I was impressed with their list of ingredients, including that they are human grade. When I received the order, the box had been on our porch for a couple hours and it was over 90* outside. When I opened it, everything was still frozen because it was so well packed. The food itself is wonderful. I can't tell whether my Golden liked the FreshBaked Morsels better or the Lip Lickin Entree! They came with easy to follow instructions on best thawing practices and it was also really easy to figure out how much he should get. Those are the things I look for in dog food- quality ingredients and easy prep!
Expectations exceeded!

This showed up so well packed! Even in 90 degree heat it was still frozen when I got home to take it inside. The containers that hold the food itself are great, you can reuse them, they’re space conscious, and they all distinctly say what is in them. The feeding process is so simple. Thaw, and feed. My dog loved these! I highly recommend PetPlate!
Not for my dog
This is a review for the lean and mean venison recipe. I have a very picky eater. Looking at the food, it has a nice texture. You can see pieces of vegetables ,potatoes
This is a review for the lean and mean venison recipe. I have a very picky eater. Looking at the food, it has a nice texture. You can see pieces of vegetables ,potatoes & seeds in there. It doesn’t smell like dog food. With that being said, my dog wouldn’t touch it. I even tried feeding it to my cats ,they wouldn’t touch it either so I’m going to have to give this a bad review. I did donate to someone but haven’t seen them yet so not sure if their dog ate it or not. I wish my dog would eat it since it is very healthy for him but it’s not happening.
Great, human quality good for your furry family.

Our 3 dogs LOVED this food. Their favorite foods are fresh fruits and vegetables, and this food has no shortage of either. There’s also plenty of meat and healthy grains mixed in, as well. We mixed some of the fresh, cold food into the bag of dry food that we got with ours. They cleaned out their bowls, and were asking for seconds. Even our cats got a few tastes when the dogs took a break between bites. This food came very well packaged, with dry ice to keep it cool. Easy to open, and store the fresh food in the freezer. Pull the frozen food the day before you’re planning on feeding it to your animals.
Overall great quality food

First off, I'm pretty well versed in dog foods. This definitely has high quality ingredients. The wet food nearly resembles a stew. Both my GSD and Corgi tried both wet and dry food. As for the wet food, the Corgi absolutely loved it! The GSD, on the other hand, wanted nothing to do with the wet food but ate the dry like it was a treat. I truly don't think there's anything wrong with it but she isn't usually picky. Overall, I would recommend giving this a try if you'd like to feed your dog a healthier diet.

At first glance, I thought my dogs would really enjoy this food. Started by mixing with regular kibble to get adjusted to it. They would eat regular and leave this in the bowl. The fresh frozen was no better as they refused to even taste it. When they did start consuming the dry, they would eat everything but the fruit. They would actually spit it out and leave it in the bowl. I noticed in their bowel movements that most of the unique grains pass through their system undigested. I don't know how much of a benefit the whole grains are if they can't be digested? For small dogs this might be a very great food, but for my large Collies, I do believe it will be cost prohibitive. That, and the fact that they really did not care for it makes me leave a minimal star review.
Good food
The boys loved it. Came in a box with dry ice, the food topper you can actually see the good stuff in it. I’m not sure I’ll get this regularly, it would get kind

Maybe a little too high end?

First off, the manufacturer takes this stuff really seriously. The sample delivery arrived frozen, packed in dry ice. My first thought was, I love my dog but I don't think he needs food delivered in dry ice! Once thawed, the wet food was indeed human grade. It looked delicious. It was a great topper for the high end dry food he already eats. Was my dog impressed with the appearance? Probably not. But he sure wolfed it down. I had to shoo the cat away from it. Ultimately, this seems like something someone with a lot more disposable income would want for their pampered dog. Definitely very high quality food though.

So fresh and smells good. Some fresh and wet foods smell so bad but this smells like fresh ingredients. You can clearly see individual healthy ingredients such a quinoa, sweet potato, etc. My lab, lab mix, and beagle all really loved it. Since it is soft I fed it in enrichment toys and it was perfect for that. They enjoyed the baked food as well and the tiny pieces are great to use for training as I often use my youngest dogs meals during training sessions.
