I purchased this item to help with a few of my older cats plus I have one that had to have dental surgery so everybody was getting on board of staying healthy I was really surprised that they liked it it was a few that weren't sure if they liked it by itself so I Incorporated the allowance of serving in with their meals and they just ate as if it was part of their food everybody not just one or two cats cuz I do have 20 cats I care for so everybody gets the same thing.

We had the respiratory virus run through our house. It hit one and then before we knew it in three days all the six cats were sneezing non stop. Tigger got it the worse, by day three we had to take him to the vet for meds. The vet gave me some Lysine paste to give to all of them and that they wouldn't have a problem with the flavor because cats love maple flavor. Well, ours must be the exception because none of them would touch it. It came down to me wrapping each one in a towel and putting the paste in their mouth, which they did not appreciate. So I did some research and found PetHonesty Lysine chews. Thank the cat gods every one of our cats love the chews and we don't have to play Lysine wrestle mania. And I'm happy to say that within one week all of them had stopped sneezing and Tigger was back to his bouncy self.

My cat has had off and on hot spots and scabs from over grooming for over a year now. I had tried some other supplement like pure lysine and salmon oil, but it didn't really help. After a few weeks of giving these to him, the hot spots and scabs are almost completely gone! He seems more relaxed and has been laying more comfortably on his side. Since he's 9 lbs, I only have to give him 9 treats a day so they last a little longer than a month per package. These are amazing. I'd give more stars if I could.

They crumble into a million pieces after they’re bitten into, and my cats don’t want to eat all the little pieces from that for some reason. My boy wouldn’t even go for them unless I broke them in half first, so maybe a lack of appetizing smell on the outer shell was the cause of that and then not eating the little crunchy bits? Either way, it led to me essentially paying full price for only a little over half of what came in the bag. Maybe your cat will love them and they’ll actually help, but it was a no-go for my babies.
