I’ve been using these with my dogs for the last 4 years! I first tried this brand & product when we got our Golden Retriever puppy. She’s such a good girl, but she showed signs of anxiety. I didn’t want to put her on medication, so I went with this because of the 100% all natural ingredients! They work so well, I saw a night & day difference from day one! I started out giving her the maximum daily dose for her weight daily. After about a month or so, I dropped to twice a day. Now she only gets one at bedtime. Moose is 110 pounds & I would do a commercial for FREE for this product! My vet was floored at the difference in her at his office too! She didn’t shake or act timid anymore. She doesn’t freak out in our East Texas thunderstorms! And I love that it’s calming, without a “drugged,” effect! She’s just happy, healthy, & playful! No more anxiety!! I will never be without these hemp chews! Total game changer right here!

I am fostering a shelter dog who has had a very rough time and she is severely stressed. I wasn't sure these would help a dog with her level of anxiety (in fairness, a claim the company does not make) but I hoped they would help so i tried. While she liked the taste and ate the treat readily, it didn't really do much for her. AGAIN IN ALL FAIRNESS, as I said, she has severe anxiety and I didn't want to "overdose" her, so I stuck to the instructions. However, I donated them to the shelter from which I am fostering because they have very good results using these calming treats with dogs who are just moderately stressed. So that's something to keep in mind -- moderate stress, good results. Severe anxiety, maybe not. And that's fine -- again, they don't claim to resolve severe anxiety in traumatized dogs, I just took a chance. Very glad other shelter dogs are benefitting.

Purchased for our sweet rescue who has serious fear issues after spending his first few years in a hoarding situation. When he first came to us, nearly everything scared him. The only trainer who showed up (or even returned a call) wanted to use a shock-collar and a "behaviorist" wanted nearly $700 for the first 2 required visits, which came with no guarantee that she could help and probable pharmaceuticals. (I don't object to pharmaceuticals per se, but that behaviorist was recommended by our vet because he objects to them.) Time and patience and his growing trust in us have resulted in painfully slow progress over the 14 months he's been with us, but since starting on these, the speed at which he progresses has picked up and he has reached a few important milestones, every one of which is cause for celebration.

We rescued a young dog from the shelter over a year ago, and while he's the sweetest boy, he's had issues with anxiety and sleeping through the night ever since we've taken him home. It got to the point where he would wake us up every single night at around 2 or 3 am crying and wanting to go outside to patrol our backyard for animals he might have heard or smelled. We walk him twice a day and try to give him enough exercise, but sometimes that didn't even seem to matter with his sleep schedule. It got to the point where it was beginning to effect our quality of life. We bought these supplements because we'd thought we'd give it a try and had nothing to lose. To be honest I wasn't expecting much with an herbal supplement, but they really do work. I can't speak to how every dog will react to these supplements, but with ours we just give him two chews right before bedtime and he's ready to fall asleep and stay asleep for the entire night. For the past two weeks our dog has slept through the night 12 out of 14 days, which is a huge improvement. Would definitely recommend trying this product out before turning to something stronger like Trazodone.

My Jackson is a Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix and he suffers with mild seperation anxiety and also anxiety induced licking of his paws. I I received a free container of PetHonesty CalmingHemp Chicken Flavored Soft Chews Calming Supplement for Dogs from BzzAgent. I have been shopping for some hemp/CBD products for Jackson to try and was so glad for the opportunity to try these out first! The first time I opened the container and offered a chew to Jackson, he was a little hesistant (more like he was wary Mom was trying to slip him some medicine!), but once he smelled them and smelled the chicken flavor he quickly took them! I will say that after only one day of trying them out I noticed a slight difference in Jackson. He was more chill and relaxed than usual. I love that these are natural and safe for my dog! Bark and Shake

I got these treats in hopes of calming Khan down. For some reason, he started having separation anxiety: barking in his crate, shaking when I leave, trying to escape his crate to the point where he hurts himself. I didn’t want him to take any prescribed medication since I had a previous dog take them before. I know all dogs adapt differently, but seeing that didn’t sit well with me. He’s been on these treats for about a week now and I have seen a difference. He’s about 60 lbs, so I give him two chews about an hour or so before I leave for work in the morning. I watch him on camera, and he’s literally just chill. No bark, no shake; just sniffs around and perks up when someone opens a door in the apartment building. He doesn’t act high or anything. Still a functional old pup. I like it and he seems a lot less stressed which is the most important thing to me.

Wow! These chews truly work on my very anxiety ridden dog (scared of loud noises!) I have allergy chews from the same brand which has basically eliminated almost all of his itching and biting. So I was excited to try these. They work!!! My dog was sleeping and relaxed before the end of the storm! More details: My dog has very bad anxiety (as a puppy his first owner would leave him at home for 12+ hours a day all alone. From 4 months to 11 months when I adopted him) and is very skittish and afraid of loud noises. He’s on a prescription which helps him for daily life but fireworks and thunderstorms TERRIFY him. He doesn’t like to wear clothes and a thunder coat has been a battle. The past few nights have been AWFUL with fireworks. He’s been so terrified. He shakes so badly, it’s so heartbreaking. Tonight there was a thunderstorm and I managed to get him to take 2 chews while he was terrified (ate one right up, then it took a while but he ate the second. When he’s so scared he often won’t take treats or even cheese!) Within 20 minutes he stopped shaking and calmed down. I was able to get a thunder coat on him. Between the two he is now napping and it is still very loudly raining. I highly recommend this brand and this product!

PetHonesty Calming Hemp

I received a sample of these chews (for free) #BuzzAgent. My almost 6 year old German Shepherd dog has some extreme fear issues. Mostly of my husband.

I received a sample of these chews (for free) #BuzzAgent. My almost 6 year old German Shepherd dog has some extreme fear issues. Mostly of my husband. I have tried other products for calming and most with zero or little results. He is NOT fearful of thunder or fireworks so I cannot speak to the product working for those issues. PetHonesty CalmingHemp Chicken Flavored Soft Chews have been different in that they have additional calming ingredients that I haven't seen in other products. Chamomile, Ginger Root, VALERIAN ROOT and L-Typtophan (I add this one separately to his dinner too) are very good calming agents and they are all in these chews! I believe that this combination has an improved effectiveness on my dog. I crumble the chews into his dinner because he is really picky about "treats" (what? a dog that doesn't just gobble up treats? Yes) After his dinner meal with chews crumbled in, he will lay down and be very relaxed. Sometimes we can even see in his eyes that he IS calm and relaxed. The extreme look of "terrified" is gone. I plan to purchase the chews in the future and continue to mix them with my dogs dinner. For other pet-parents with dogs like mine, I do recommend the PetHonesty CalmingHemp Chews. I believe the combination of all the ingredients is the key factor here.

We have a 120lb mastador and he literally decided one day that he couldn’t go down the stairs (5 steps), can’t go in the living room, bathrooms or laundry room (some of those I’m okay with)! It’s like he drew an imaginary “nope” line! We tried everything and believe me when I said EVERYTHING!!!!! Our breeder mentioned cbd and I was willing to try anything! I only give him 2 despite the recommendation for 3+ and he is easier to coach now!!!! It didn’t cure him! It just took a little edge off of his anxiety! He still has a ton of his normal energy so it didn’t make him sleepy! Just took a little edge off of his anxiety and that’s what we needed! He became a prisoner of his own mind and we couldn’t stand to see him that way!!! He will be a repeat customer!

I have a golden retriever and she normally gets extremely nervous and hides under my bed when there is a thunderstorm. We have to wrap her like a burrito and constantly give her words of encouragement. Well we tried this product for her during the last thunderstorm and while it didn’t make her forget about the thunderstorm it did make her calm down to where she didn’t run away and hide. She was not shaking, she was relaxed. She sat down right next to me and just watch tv with me. After that she grabbed her toy and just chewed it for an hour non stop very calmly which normally she goes all crazy on it. When a loud thunder dropped she just picked up her ears and moved on with what she was doing. She also watch me and stared at me lol Definitely recommend it! Now I will say it takes about 30 minutes to kick in.
