Perfect Scratcher!
We absolutely love these scratchers. Before I got these kittens, I had a cat for 23 years... I tried scratchers, but they were ignored for the most part, and Muffin
We absolutely love these scratchers. Before I got these kittens, I had a cat for 23 years... I tried scratchers, but they were ignored for the most part, and Muffin scratched our cedar paneling, leather chairs and fabric furniture. I thought that was the price of having a cat, and well worth the exchange. But now, with the Petfusion, nothing in my house is scratched but the Perfusion. My kittens are 3 years old, and we have worn out so many of these that my most recent order was for 4 of them. I keep them in the living room, office and bedroom. Over the past 3 years, I have included other brands of scratchers, but Petfusion is the best. It blends into our Mid-Centuary Modern vibe, and is completely recyclable! For the cats, it is their statement piece. They get up in the morning and sharpen their claws, throughout the day they will saunter over to restate their sharpness. It is also a relaxing lounger and see-through play piece for them. Indispensable for any cat owner.

He loves to scratch and rest on it, and I love that there are two sides so it’ll last a long time. One of my best purchases ever :) The photo speaks for itself. I was apprehensive about ordering at first due to some reviews complaining about an odor, but I decided to take the plunge knowing Chewy always makes it right if there are any issues. Our scratcher lounge arrived in perfect condition and there is NO odor whatsoever! Love it!

My cats love lounging on this scratcher; they look so comfortable lounging in multiple places along its curves. They love how it lets them S-S-T-R-R-E-T-C-H-H out
My cats love lounging on this scratcher; they look so comfortable lounging in multiple places along its curves. They love how it lets them S-S-T-R-R-E-T-C-H-H out to scratch horizontally. And they enjoy the openings when playing. I like keeping it adjacent to a tall vertical scratcher as they will alternate between horizontal scratches & vertical scratches. The shape is pleasing, almost like a sculpture, and the cardboard shedding is better than with similar scratchers.

My cats love these loungers and I’ve had them before with no problems. This current order is replacing my older ones that lasted 5+ years. Sadly I’m returning the stinky one, well actually Chewy told me to donate it or toss out. However I am torn about gambling on getting the 2nd one. I may wait another year and retry purchasing in the hopes that the stinky ones are gone. Wish the manufacturer would toss out the stinky ones. No cat will want to use them.

The shelter I volunteer at has had one of these scratchers in the cat room. All the cats love it, it sheds cardboard flakes way less than other cardboard scratchers, and it has been there for months and is still in good shape, so I ordered one for Layla. She was very involved in the unpackaging process and was scratching on it within seconds of the plastic wrap coming off. It is pricier than the $10 scratchers I have bought for her in the past, but it's a great size and I know it will last a while.

Just kinda batting and light wrestling. It’s a popular spot. One cat loves using it for his nails. It’s a nice bed. Love the size for bigger kitties. Our cats are all between 10-14 pounds.
Cat liked it, but the smell was foul!
Just as the title says- my cat liked it and would lounge on it every now and then, but the smell was too much. It smelled like sour cheese and this would not fade

The smell was strongest upon unboxing and did improve slightly after a week. However, I live in a relatively small apartment and this smell filled up the entire space. I’d nearly gag every time I would walk by and get a strong whiff of it. I’m sad to be getting rid of it since my cat was a fan overall, but I’ll be buying from another brand in the hopes it won’t reek like this one. I’ve been reading that perhaps only the walnut brown color is affected, but I wouldn’t risk polluting your space with that foul odor. Shout out to Chewy customer service for helping me with my refund!
