Choose the Right Weight Range

How to Apply PetArmor Plus

1. Hold the tube with the notched end pointing up and away from the face and body.

2. Use scissors to cut off the narrow end of the applicator.

3. Invert the tube over your dog and use its open end to part the hair.

4. Apply directly on the skin, from the back of the neck to a point midway between the neck and tail.

How is it applied?

After the narrow end is cut off the tube, invert the tube over your pet and use the open end to part your pet’s hair. Squeeze tube firmly to apply all of the solution to the pet’s skin as a spot to the pet’s back between the shoulder blades.

Do the fleas/ticks have to bite to be killed?

After a day of trying to get the ticks off myself I found a vial of this that I had purchased a month back but not used on my pitbull ( we were going on vacation and I wanted to make sure I had this in case but didnt need it.) Hey I have another tip, this stuff is toxic, & I think since it removes all fleas, eggs, larvae you only need to use it every 3 months & thats in areas where there are lots of fleas, if in area with no fleas, i use it once every 6 months. Also before you use, give house a good vacuuming & if your dogs have a yard or bedding clean, wash that too. And then celebrate with trip to a favorite place to go that your dogs love !

I’ll admit that I had my doubts about whether this was really doing anything while I was using it just as a preventative for years. After all, it’s much cheaper than some other brands, and I didn’t know if the product was working or we just weren’t exposed to fleas—my indoor dog lives alone and only goes out alone for walks with me. Well, I was using it consistently every month but then got behind when we moved and there were so many distractions… I was bad and forgot to reorder last month. I was petting him on the couch and on his belly, what is this black dot... UGH!! FLEAS! My worst nightmare. I got him in the tub, and I fortunately had a sample of flea shampoo I got for free. It killed most of the fleas but unfortunately, a few stragglers lingered on and I tried to get them by hand, but the little ones are just too fast. I sprayed the apt down with insect IGR, vacuumed, and went to the pet store for emergency Pet Armor Plus and a flea comb. I recommend both these. The first day with the comb, I got out some live ones, and I was like “does this topical even work or is it a scam??” The fleas appeared unaffected for 24 hours and this problem seemed endless—so frustrating, given what I read about the life cycle of the flea. After 24 hours, every combout only produced dead fleas and “flea dirt”. It’s been a few days and fingers crossed! I will never let his preventative monthly treatment lapse again!
