I wish the world of cat parents, including myself, knew of this product earlier. I have three senior kitties, age 15, 15, and 17. My eldest, Skittle, has stage 2 kidney disease and I have yet to visit the vet for her biannual checkup to see how her kidneys are doing since we started the drops, but perhaps this solution saved my little boy’s life. Not lot ago Bunty got a UTI which was pretty bad. He stopped eating, had diarrhea, secluded himself and became a totally different cat. I was miserable and took him to the vet afraid of what they would say. I sat there crying at the vets office, and the doctor came out to tell me that he is a pretty sick kitty, **however the good news is, his kidneys have had no impact**...I was stunned and amazed. For a problem so major to have no impact on his kidneys - I didn’t think it was possible! We gave him antibiotics, anti nausea, and an appetite stimulant, and slowly but surely my baby was back. I didn’t hear his meow for 4 days and my vocal Siamese started talking to me again. I cannot thank PetAlive enough for this AND the UTI granules, which I will be sure to review as well. It may be expensive but a few drops a meal goes a long way. I started giving this to all three of my babies otherwise it would last longer. My 13-yr-old cat was diagnosed with stage 3 chronic kidney disease (CKD) 10 months ago. He refuses to eat any kind of prescription food. He has been on these drops for 9 months in addition to eating the lowest phosphorus non-Rx food I can get. His recent blood work showed his kidney values are stable and his vet said the drops were the cause. I highly recommend them.

My cat is 16 years old with early stage kidney disease. I wanted to see if this supplement would improve his numbers. I've been giving it to him for a few weeks and he has not been himself since I started him on it. He has been much more withdrawn and lethargic, and drinking way more than he ever was before. When I researched the ingredients, it turns out that 3 out of the 4 (clevers, dandelion root and leaf) are diuretics. From what I understand, cats with renal disease need fluid, not the loss of it. This could explain his sudden increase in excessive amounts of water (he was not drinking like this before). I'm not sure about the lethargy, but I won't be giving this to him anymore.
