Great exercise for solo kitten or young cat
Although I also bought the kit that came with 30 balls and a launcher (looks & sounds like a toy gun), my one year old kitten loves to play catch when I throw these
Although I also bought the kit that came with 30 balls and a launcher (looks & sounds like a toy gun), my one year old kitten loves to play catch when I throw these colorful puffy balls at her. She also loves to pull them out of the small paper bag we store them in, along with the wadded up magazine pages that she also delights in running after and catching. We use these to exercise our kitten (and practice our throwing arms). Good value for 50 projectiles.

My cats go feral for these little pompom balls. They're small enough to stay engaging when they're being batted around or carried like prey, but big enough that I can usually keep track of them. That said, my cats do tend to stash them in hidden spots, so I end up buying replacements pretty regularly and occasionally discover their collections around the house. I'm pretty sure I have a couple hundred pompom balls tucked away in various stash locations at this point.

They end up everywhere -- but there's so many, there's always one at hand to keep the play going.

These little fuzzy balls are the perfect size, light weight, soft and squishy for the cats to play with. The kitties loved to bat and chase these little fuzz ball

Jasper sometimes bring the ball to me to throw it for her to go fetch. Never fail, the ball would be lost within 10 minutes. When I vacuum, I would find the balls everywhere. I put the balls back in the toy basket, but soon the balls would be everywhere.

So I got my cats a random toy stocking one of their very first years. This was 10+ years ago. It had some pom poms in it that were bouncy. I have looked everywhere
