I *almost* regret getting these
Ok, so. This toy. So the reason I go back and forth on regretting getting this toy is because my cat just. Freaking. Loves. This. Goshdarn. Toy. I cannot explain
Ok, so. This toy. So the reason I go back and forth on regretting getting this toy is because my cat just. Freaking. Loves. This. Goshdarn. Toy. I cannot explain it, it's the only thing he's ever begged for that's not treats. He just goes absolutely nuts for it. My theory is that it's the clear string, which makes the dingle-dangles look like they're moving on their own. The bell is a nice touch, too. I just paused playing with him to write this and try to eat my dinner, and he's sitting behind me squeaking and pawing at my back... He wakes me up at night wanting to play. We have to hide it from him, and even then he'll just be sitting near it, staring up at it, then to a human, then back up, then squeak, then back at human, until someone breaks and get sit out. Anyways, this is probably the best toy I've ever gotten this boy, and I have regrets.

My cat is obsessed with these wand toys. I've likely gotten her 10 wands like this over the last couple of years. The first weren't this brand and lasted almost a year. The string finally got too warped (when the string is warped, it can twist around the cat's paws easier), so I needed a replacement. I was so happy to find these as a 2 wand set. They come with a nice variety of attachments. I was surprised the metal hook broke easily, but it came with 2 wands, so I figured it was just a fluke. My cat loved it, but it didn't seem to last as long as the first ones we got from a different brand. I brought this brand again. I left it on the floor with her and when I came back it was snapped. It seemed weird that she'd been able to snap it on her own, but maybe it was just a bad wand. I reached out to Chewy and they happily replaced it. Good thing, cause the second wand (black) broke while we were playing. Just from the force of a cat pulling on the end. So both broken in a matter of days. We got the replacements and the first already broke from regular playing. That is why I'm writing this review. I can see one wand being a dud. But 3 in a row? I only have a picture of the last 2 because I threw first broken one away. I'm salvaging what I can, but we will not be buying this brand again.

I have so many stick toys for my cats, one in every chair, but these capture their attention the most. They are like long skinny fishing poles with a fishing line to attach the feather and furry pieces. They fling up and out further than the other ones giving my cats a sense of actually catching a bird. Because as soon s they grab it, they start running with it, like running off with their prey. It’s hilarious to watch. I’ll be getting more to replace the others!

Bell is good but since they hear it right away it makes it easy so I took it off and it’s more fun. Wand does extend but doesn’t have a lock so it’s just long however with practice can play hunt with kittens.

The worms have a natural movement for him and are also softer overall. Unfortunately he ends up chewing them and they ravel apart. We are on the fourth (and last) and he got it on Christmas. Luckily additional worms can be purchased. I wish they held up better, but I think that they would not be as desirable if they were stronger.
Fun but strings are a mixed bag

The initial strings are made of something like fishline and are pretty durable, but when it comes time to replace them, you have to cut them off the wands. They don't unclip. The replacement strings have to be tied on. 2. Even though the materials are reportedly pet safe, make sure to keep an eye on the toys (especially the worms) as they get worn down. The feather toys fall apart pretty fast and our cat managed to chew away at the worm toys enough that she ended up swallowing some of the stiff part of the tail. It reappeared later but...let's just say it didn't sit well in her tummy. Bottom line, these toys will shed once they've seen good use.

The little ball was broken into many pieces . The other toys seemed to be alright. Disappointed more care wasn’t taken in the packaging and shipping of the product.

When we are playing I feel like I am fly fishing & she probably feels like those fishes that jump out of water! She can catch some major air with these wands!! She's so tuned in & focused when she plays with it. I love that for her since she is mostly an indoor cat (we go on some chaperoned outside adventures). It gives her the opportunity to exert some energy & meets that primal instinct to chase & capture little critters. We love these! My only disappointment was one of the poles got stuck in the closed position, but we had the other so just kinda forgot about it. The other we recently broke because it was left open, but it broke in a way we could still use the tip. When we get some extra cash-ola we will most definitely be buying another set of these wands. We like to call ours "The Nimsy Pole". Highly recommend, just don't leave it propped open like we did!

The sticks are also long and extendable and look like a fishing rod so I always ask if she wants to go cat fishing. Don’t let the pictures fool you, these are the only non blurry ones I have, she goes nuts for this toy.

I purchased several toy types, but this one has been both of their favorites!! Wow my kittens have SO much fun with this simple, low-priced toy...one wand extends, one wand is short. They LOVE the wormy things & you can customize EVERYTHING- from what toy you want on the wand to how many of each...AND they LOVE playing with the wormy thing off the wand...one kitten is very playful & the other is a bit shy, but they BOTH engage with this & truly have so much FUN! For $10 it's worth trying. I recommend it, I would give 10 STARS if I could!!!
