I bought 2 bags of this as the write up and photos were promising. Sadly, the bags I received were at least 80% sunflower seed bits and the rest was some peanuts

I bought 2 bags of this as the write up and photos were promising. Sadly, the bags I received were at least 80% sunflower seed bits and the rest was some peanuts and maybe a few recognizable nuts. The little bits clog up my tube feeders and make a real mess. It is not what my “customers” have grown to expect. Woodpeckers, jays, cardinals, thrashers, catbirds, even the titmice have come to expect nice nuts and lots of peanuts. It certainly is not “Ultra Double Nut”. Maybe I got the bottom of the batch, but maybe not will not be buying this again.

I usually only put food for the woodpeckers in the green feeder that’s behind him but I put it in the smart feeder as well today. Never have I ever had any woodpecker show up to grab some nuts! The mockingbirds and Tufted Titmice are loving this too. Usually I will take a 20lb bag of this and mix it with half a 40lb bag of black oil Sunflower seeds.

Received my newest order and thought I had ordered a different, lesser brand by mistake. Nope, just looked at the customer comments and sadly, this blend is now horribly changed. Not the same and lost a loyal customer in doing so. Why do companies make that mistake, thinking their loyal customers won't notice the diminished quality and same price ?
