Pedigree Chopped Ground Dinner with Chicken & Beef Adult Canned Wet Dog Food Variety Pack, 13.2-oz, case of 12

I recently changed to Pedigree Chopped canned dog food from the Choice Cuts in gravy and so far am liking the change. The Choice Cuts in gravy seemed to be having more gravy and less solid food over the course of the last year or so, so I decided to try out the Chopped version and see what my dogs thought. They love it, and they are not being as messy since there is less liquid. Chewy as always delivered the product on time and in sturdy boxes.

The 2 pack of dog is wrapped in clear plastic, then coveted with a yellow plastic. I keep the dog food in my laundry room. I kept noticing a bad odor. Thought it was something in the laundry. Upon investigation I found a bent can in the back corner of the bottom cans. It was open with maggots all over it. You could not tell from the outside of the pack that it was bent/open. Big mess!! I’m sending a photo and canceling my Autoship.

My elderly Rottweiler eats 2 to 3 cans of dog food daily, along with her kibble. As her elderly owner I find going to the store and lugging cases of her food to my car, then into my home is a bit strenuous, so having them delivered to my door is extremely helpful. I will be even more delighted when they send a robot along to carry the cases into the house and stack the cans in my cabinet. At any rate, my sweet old Rottie loves the Pedigree food and is doing well on it. She has some degenerative disease of her spine and mustn’t gain too much weight because it would make it harder to get around, but she’s maintaining her weight and enjoying her food, both of which make me happy. I would definitely recommend this item.

She loves her foods!! We alternate beef & chicken canned foods. We mix her dry foods together with 1/4 of a can to 1 cup morning & evening. Treat snacks in-between .
