Fresh breath made easy for dogs, cats & all the critters you love! We know water bowls come in all sorts of sizes and every pet is unique, so we developed a dosage chart to help you get started:

8 oz. water (1 cup): 1/4 tsp. Sensitive pets: 1/8 tsp.

16 oz. water (2 cups): 1/2 tsp. Sensitive pets: 1/4 tsp.

32 oz. (4 cups/1 quart): 1 tsp. Sensitive pets: 1/2 tsp.

• Hey, it's not called Pet Dental Food Additive! In all seriousness, this pet oral hygiene solution does need to be added to water to maintain its effectiveness. If your cats are not big water drinkers, try spreading a little Pet Dental Gel Toothpaste on top of their paw instead. Since cats like to groom themselves, they'll naturally lick the toothpaste off their paw and clean their teeth at the same time! And be sure to talk with your vet about your cats' water intake if you have concerns.

For small size water dishes, how can I make sure I'm using the right amount?

• We recommend the following dosages which can be adjusted to any size bowl. 8 oz. water (1 cup): 1/4 tsp. Sensitive pets: 1/8 tsp. 16 oz. water (2 cups): 1/2 tsp. Sensitive pets: 1/4 tsp. 32 oz. (4 cups/1 quart): 1 tsp. Sensitive pets: 1/2 tsp.

Can this breath freshener be added to a fountain?

• Supurrrb idea! But if you're using a carbon-based filter in your fountain, it can filter our active ingredients. We recommend simply removing the carbon filter. The actively flowing water will still be fresh when using our Pet Dental Water Additive. If you're using a mesh type filter, there is no need to remove it; it will still work perfectly. For the best results, it is recommended to refresh the water every day, or at most every other day.
