What is the stick in the middle? That's my pigs favorite part.

The balls are GLUEd to the sticks...I have them but I wouldn't give them to my bunnies. Oxbow doesn't say this nor what kind of glue they use. Does anyone know what they used on them?

Great, but won’t be buying again

So as for the glue that is mentioned in other reviews, the manufacturer acknowledged it and stated it’s entirely safe for rabbits so I wouldn’t worry about that

So as for the glue that is mentioned in other reviews, the manufacturer acknowledged it and stated it’s entirely safe for rabbits so I wouldn’t worry about that. I think this chew toy is a great concept, but it consists of the outer treat layer and an inner hay layer. I knew my bunny would have no interest in chewing the stick because that’s how he is. But because of how the layers are, he went through the outer layer in a couple days and then entirely lost interest in it because he has hay all the time that isn’t compacted and difficult to eat. Then I stepped on it and broke the stick lol. I am left with this. I’m sure some bunnies would love it but mine just wasn’t interested after the first layer. Random side note, why can’t my nickname be under four letters? Don’t make sense. Guess I’m Lizz now lol

Looks nothing like the pictures

If these timbells actually looked like how the pics made them look, I think my guinea pigs would have loved them. The pics make it look like flecks of timothy

If these timbells actually looked like how the pics made them look, I think my guinea pigs would have loved them. The pics make it look like flecks of timothy. Instead, it's like a giant ground up pellet on a stick. There's no hay-like texture to it. It looks like the timothy was ground into a fine powder and then molded into a ball shape. The guinea pigs don't bother with it. Again, if it arrived looking like how they made it appear in the pics, I think they would have been obsessed.

I ordered this after looking into it for my rabbit. it comes with two of them. so four balls total. he wasn’t a fan of it at first. but he seems to like it a little more now. I bought it for him to have something in his cage if he needed to chew on something. over all it’s a nice chew toy. but he wasn’t a big fan of it. every animal is different so it may be different for yours. nothing wrong with the product. he just seemed uninterested. would recommend to a friend because every animal is different.

Changed the Recipe/structure

These used to be so great! The ends were Timothy wrapped into a ball and coated in ground up hay. Now they are essentially a giant treat. It’s too much to give a

These used to be so great! The ends were Timothy wrapped into a ball and coated in ground up hay. Now they are essentially a giant treat. It’s too much to give a rabbit in one sitting. The first bell I gave of the new package I didn’t realize the change, came home to my rabbit having mild GI issues and had to give critical care. With the second bell I had to monitor it for a minute at a time and then take it away to save. I used to leave them out when I’d be gone for a while as a nice activity for my bunny. I won’t be buying these again unless they change back to the old style
