The string in the Crazy Hay Ball is made of jute. Oxbow's Enriched Life items are designed with non-toxic materials (i.e. untreated wood and natural fibers) for safe chewing, but small animals should not consume noticeable amounts of any non-food material. If you find that your pet is consuming components of any Enriched Life item, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian to determine enrichment options that best meet your pet’s instincts, needs, and individual personality and preferences.

Got this for my then 6 week old rabbit who has decided that at 9 weeks old, he’s going to completely dismantle this ball of food. Might have to get Hops another
