My dogs really enjoy this food. Even my picky eater, who normally doesn’t show much interest in his food, comes running when he hears me open a can. The food is a good consistency to feed either on its own or as a topper for dry food. As you can see from the pictures, it contains chunks of real meat and vegetables, which makes me feel good about feeding it to my dogs (not to mention that they love it and gobble up every bite!) The food on the top in the photo is the original and the bottom is the chicken recipe. My dogs seemed to like both varieties equally well.

Naturally, Belle (Pug) loved it, but it was a little more work for me. Yes, there is some shredded chicken in the can, but most of it was chunks. I had to spend a few extra minutes chopping those into smaller pieces due to Belle "inhaling" her food. Other than that, looks good, probably tastes good, but just an extra step for me and something else to clean.

The Origen dog food has truly been a lifesaver! My dog is very picky and will refuse to eat if she does not like the food. This has had me very worrisome. We have tried several different dog foods with zero luck. That was not the case with this product! She was a little hesitant at first to try it but once she did she loved it. I’m so happy we gave it a try!

My dog is normally a very picky eater so I was a bit worried about trying a new food, but she loved it! I really appreciated the ingredient list being comprised of ingredients I actually knew and upon opening the can I could pick out what all the small pieces were like the chicken, broccoli and carrots. It’s got a good amount of gravy which is another thing I think my dog liked a lot. One thing is some dogs aren’t great with chunks of food and are used to a pate texture but the chicken pieces are so soft you can just smush them with a spoon for easier eating.

I selected this food for my very picky 8-year-old Morkie to try. I was pleasantly surprised when he started eating it right away! When it comes to canned food, he will usually nose-around and only pick on certain pieces he likes or will just leave the whole bowl sit untouched, but he ate all parts of this - even the little carrot pieces! Our senior kitty also enjoyed lapping up some of the extra gravy. We will definitely be feeding this again and plan on trying some of the other flavors.

The pull tab top was nice so you don’t have to wrestle with a can opener. My only down vote would be the price but you get what you pay for! In a good way! Lol My cats would also go crazy to get a lick of the spoon

Winter loved it!
My rescue dog Winter loved it! She tried both the turkey and the chicken versions and thought they were delicious. I also put some in her toy and froze for an enrichment

It’s always a challenge to find the right diet for him and recently he refused the food he’s been eating for over six years. We were trying this one with fingers crossed and thankfully, it’s been a hit. He loves it, it seems to be working great with his issues. Couldn’t be happier.
