So I recently got corydoras and at first I thought they would eat algae but was wrong (my cousin said that they do but turns out she has plecos, not corydoras), so I had to get my three catfish some food, I have a betta as a tank mate and she is so sweet and very smart, well not really with this but it’s ok, when I first fed my corys their food, Pluto (my betta) thought it was for her and went after them, I wasn’t mad, I just found it funny. So now my routine is to feed Pluto first and then her friends right after I give her food so she doesn’t go after them. The corys seem to really like them as well which I’m happy about.

Omega One always has great ingredients in their products, far healthier than any other brand, and a good variety of products. That is the only reason for the extra star. This particular pellet, however, is not worth the money and the ingredient quality can't make up for the biggest issue. It doesn't matter how long I soak these, they float so badly!! My mollies ended up mainly eating them, leaving my poor snails and corydoras practically starving. The formula needs more work. Thankfully I already have the shrimp and crustacean pellets on hand from the same brand, and those work much better. Some still initially float but sink pretty quickly.

This food is labeled and described as SINKING pellets. They actually float for a very long time. So if they fine get waterlogged enough to drop to the bottom. They never land where you want. So they end up on top of plants or structures where bottom feeders can’t find them.

I have a cory cat only 20 long tank. I bought these specifically for them because these pellets are supposed to sink. They don't! After floating on top of the water for 10 minutes I removed them. I tried pushing them down into the water too. They just bobbed back up to the surface. I bought these pellets to vary my corys' diets. Total waste of money. I'm sticking with other brands from now on. No more Omega One purchases for me.
