Old Mother Hubbard by Wellness Classic P-Nuttier Natural Small Oven-Baked Biscuits Dog Treats, 1.25-lb bag

New to Chewy. Prompt delivery and competitive pricing. Only issue the Old Mother Hubbard dog biscuits were infested with drugstore/bread beetles. Biscuits stored next to dog food bin, which is also now contaminated...uggh. Threw away biscuits and moved dog food bin into cold garage to monitor. It took us awhile to determine the source, but left no doubt when we found larvae and tunnels in biscuits. I don’t blame Chewy because evidently it is fairly common in stored dry pet food. However, we will inspect all dry pet food immediately and store in plastic bins.

I may have ordered the wrong thing, but when I have ordered these in the past, the bones were much smaller. If the recipe is the same, my dog will love them. But I will now have to break them into for it mor parts, instead of my usual 2.

Some time ago, my friend had purchased a bag of these treats for the two big furkids that live in the house. Her dog had these before BUT my big furkid never did. Well she had given him one and low and behold, he loved it. Not bad for a dog that was not thrilled with peanut butter. Since both dogs love them, Santa Claws had gotten a bag of them for the Holidays.

In my experience, the bulk box seems cheaply made. The bones do not have a good smell or rich peanut butter color. Although most of the time, the small bags are perfectly fine. I have requested Chewy to look into the lack of quality of the bulk product. Chewy please have the company resolve the quality issue.
