This is a great dog food and I can attest to that by the health and longevity of my dogs. We had two dogs that lived to be 17 years old and 16 years old that were on Nutro. They loved it and it was part of their diet from day one. The only problem I have is that I wish Chewy would align with some of our local pet stores in regards to pricing. We can usually get it cheaper at our local pet stores unless Chewy is running a special.

I have all sizes of poodles, from a 93 pound standard to a miniature who weighs 16 pounds. I recently lost a toy to cancer who also loved this food. it is the only dry kibble that all my adults like. I also rescue and it is this food they go on, gain weight, and can not wait to eat. Each rescue goes home with enough food for at least 2 weeks. I have the information down in a folder and it says, I order from Chewy.Com. I either give them a bag or send them a photo on my iPad. I switch from the salmon to the lamb, these are the dogs favorites. The adult rescues who were neglected gobble this up and gain about 4 pounds a week until they get to a healthy weight. They have fewer stools and the stools are firm. They also seem to have no stomach issues , skin issues, and no ear infections. I love being able to order from Chewy and knowing I'll have it within 3 days. If I have ever had a problem, Chewy knows who I am . I am very satisfied with Chewy. I love I can phone 24 / 7 and someone speaks English to me. ( & understands me)

I was using a different flavor of Nutro dog food for a long time until my dog suddenly wouldn't eat it anymore. I decided to go with this flavor instead because it still had the high quality of my old product and other reviewers mentioned that their dogs loved the food. They were right! We've been giving this to our Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix for 10 months and she's still in love with this flavor! The high quality ingredients give me peace of mind that I'm giving my baby girl a great food! She's an athletic dog and this food keeps her very healthy. Highly recommend!

Had to switch dry foods due to my senior dogs tummy issues. Nutro Wholesome Essentials Small Bites Adult Pasture Fed Lamb & Rice solved an ongoing stomach issue with my tiny terrier/shihtzu mix. I have a Shorkie, Gizmo, who will be 13 years old, in December of this year (2025). I also, have a Shih Tzu, Juno, who is 10 years old. Gizmo has always had a sensitive stomach, so when we got Juno, I was unsure if we would need two different types of food, because: A.) Juno was a new puppy and B.) W didn't know if she too, had a sensitive stomach. It turns out she has a sensitive stomach, which worked out in our favor, not so much in hers. After trying a ton of different brands of food, we finally tried Nutro Natural Choice Adult Small Bites Lamb and Brown Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food. It was exactly what they both need! Both of their stomachs calmed down and they hav3 had no issues since!

So I finally decided to try this food, Nutro Lamb & Rice, which I'd fed my Springer Spaniels years ago. Well, what do ya know, but he ate it like it was going out of style!!
