I am concerned about the amount of niacin as well as if enough calcium AND I don't see any reviews on if the ducks like it. I have chickens and ducks and since this is "all flock" I am wondering

I wouldn’t feed this to ducklings with greater niacin needs, this is why it”s recommended for ducks over seven weeks old. I have male and female ducks and chickens, and I buy this one specifically for the higher protein content for my duck hens. Everyone loves this brand. I’ve tried other brands of all flock, even duck and chicken pellets specifically, but this brand is the one most heartily eaten by everyone in my flock. They’re all very healthy with beautiful feather condition and lay like rockstars.

Would be nice if I can order this all flock in their crumble version, since I can’t order directly from Nutrena or any of the stores that carry it

Is this Ok for guinea fowls ?

My flock of 10 chickens seems to really enjoy this feed. They’ve been healthy and laying regularly since switching. It smells fresh when I open the bag and doesn’t have that weird oily scent some other feeds do. The only downside is the price has gone up a little, but it’s still worth it for how well my birds do on it.

Ummm....

This is the first time I am purchasing this from Chewy. Normally I get it at my local supplier but it was a better deal with Chewy.. So I opened the bag to this..

This is the first time I am purchasing this from Chewy. Normally I get it at my local supplier but it was a better deal with Chewy.. So I opened the bag to this... Corn.. There's corn mixed in with the pellets.. I mean it could be considered a small bonus as I do give my kids scratch but... There's also a burrs in it... See Pic. Now with the corn I would say that there was an accident with the bagging, but the burr threw me off. Are the pellets really the right pellets then?? What is happening? I have never received a bag ever with corn and burrs in it. I not sure I should feed it to my guys as it also has a funny smell. Lately I have been really having issues with my Chewey orders and I have been ordering from Chewy for a long time with no issues. And I really really needed this bag now as I am near out. Not just out feed but out the $20 I could have used to just buy it locally, which it looks like I am doing tomorrow anyway, which is NOT in my budget...

Nutrena All Flock showed to be a very good feed for my mixed flock of chickens and a turkey, and was readily accepted by all of them. The size of the pellets allow even the smaller chickens can easily eat them with no trouble, and there was virtually no waste. The benefit to pellets is that the birds are able to extract optimum nutrition with little effort on their part. Another thing I liked was there was little to no dust when pouring the bag of feed into the feeder. I would highly recommend these pellets to anyone with keeping a mixed flock. Even my laying hens are thriving and laying like crazy and it's the dead of winter here!

We were able to use this feed as a morning supplemental food until I knew how my girls would react. Given 3 were going through molt, I loved that the protein content

We were able to use this feed as a morning supplemental food until I knew how my girls would react. Given 3 were going through molt, I loved that the protein content was higher than the typical layer feed. In the mornings I would soak these pellets (as my girls are only familiar with crumble) in warm water in a cake pan. The pellets IMMEDIATELY soak up water well which allowed me to make an awesome "mush." I always worry about hydration so the quick soak let me know that it doesn't just sit in their digestive systems. My girls now LOVE this food. They literally flock to you in excitement waiting for you to put the food down.

Awesome supplement for a spoiled flock

This is my first bag of Nutrina all flock and my chickens blew through it. I chose all flock product because I have 27 hens and roosters at various stages of life

This is my first bag of Nutrina all flock and my chickens blew through it. I chose all flock product because I have 27 hens and roosters at various stages of life. Typically I free range and make, as well as ferment, my food at home and provide calcium on the side, but especially during the winter I was nervous that homemade feed might not get them all the nutrients they need, as it’s easier to pick through. Supplementing my homemade feed with Naturewise all flock gives me peace of mind that my flock is getting all the vitamins and minerals they need, especially during molting (I have one hen who drops nearly all her feather at once, poor girl desperately needs help). The pellets are small and easy to pick up, even by my smaller pullets and cockerel, which means less wasted food. The flavor seems to be appealing to my flock, as several of my hens seem to prefer it over the fermented feed and run to the hanging feeder first.

Ordered in early November and manufacture date was late October, great! Very pleasantly surprised, as a couple of years ago Chewy was sending me feed that was several months away from the manufacture date, and the local TSC was selling six month old feed. My flock is small so I need a feed that will stay fresh until they eat it. This all prompted me to switch to another feed available from a local hardware store with a more robust business. Took a chance here as the local place doesn’t stock that brand in all flock pellets. Very happy with Chewy - the Nutrena pellets were all intact and there was almost no dust as I put it in my feed container. Chewy always ships fast, so I knew I could count on them for that. Will order again and stick with Chewy as long as they keep sending fresh bags!

Smells like pizza! Chickens love it!

I got this because I run a microsanctuary and needed a nice all bird friendly feed! This stuff smells like Oregano and they go nuts for it! You can also get Feather

I got this because I run a microsanctuary and needed a nice all bird friendly feed! This stuff smells like Oregano and they go nuts for it! You can also get Feather Fixer if you only have chickens but have hens and roosters! Slightly lower in protein with slightly different nutrient levels so I will be switching to this for my chickens. I will be reviewing it when my first shipment arrives! That being said, this is the best feed for a mixed flock on the market!

I offered the girls this in a step-on feeder. It holds its shape and moves through the feeder nicely. The girls seemed to enjoy it. While using this feed, the eggs were large with sturdy shells. The pellets are a good size, not too big or so small that they are dusty and break. This formula has essential oils and probiotics, which I appreciate in terms of gut health for the flock. The protein ratio is great for winter feather production. I prefer organic soy-free feeds. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.

We have a flock of 9 chickens of varying ages (9 years to 2 years). All of ladies liked the Nutrena NatureWise All Flock 20% protein pellets. They may even like it more than their usual pellets! The pellet size was comparable to other brands, and they worked well in our hanging feeder. The eggs laid after eating this food have had nice good shells and even one of our middle aged girls has laid after not laying for a while! I recommend that this feed for chickens, and will use again.
