Beans didn't waste any time. The bowl hit the floor and he was already going to town on it, which honestly says it all. The kibble size is perfect, not too big, not too small. Beans can be picky, so I'm happy he likes it. Real salmon is the first ingredient and there's no corn, wheat, soy or artificial anything in it, so I feel good about what I'm putting in his bowl. It also has prebiotics and probiotics which I wasn't expecting. I always worry about my cats' digestion so finding that on the label was a nice surprise. Beans gave it two paws up and honestly that's the only opinion that matters,right???

My cats enjoyed the novelty of trying Nutrena Loyall Life Salmon & Ocean Fish Meal Recipe Cat & Kitten Food. They were excited to eat it when I first opened the bag, but after a while they went back to their regular food. Even so, it’s a quality food with a good-sized kibble that’s suitable for both adult cats and kittens. I appreciate the wholesome ingredients, and it’s nice to have as an option to add a little variety to their diet. Overall, it’s a good product, and I’m glad I gave it a try.

When I set their dishes in front of them, they started gobbling it down like they hadn’t eaten in a year, quickly finishing cleaning their bowls and looking for more. I got the same results when I gave it to my outside friends the next morning. Nobody turned it down or even hesitated and every piece quickly disappeared. I was very impressed at the small, rounded pieces. It’s not often that cat food is shaped with the design of a cats’ mouth in mind, but this product definitely is. It smells and looks fresh. I would love to see this available in a resealable bag, but for now, I used my own Ziploc bags to keep the rest fresh until it’s used up. Carb content is very important to me, as I have a diabetic cat, so I’ve added a screenshot of the carb. content results as calculated by the formula for those who have cats their veterinarians say should monitor their carbs. If your cat likes fish/seafood foods, definitely give this one a try.

This cat food has a stronger odor to it which really attracted my cat at first. After a few days though he was asking for his old food back. I did a side by side test to see which food he preferred. (See the photos below). The new food was left uneaten while both my cats chose their old food instead.
