Consult your veterinarian for guidance on your dog's optimal body condition and adjust feeding amounts as needed. Clean, fresh water needs to be available at all times. Regular veterinarian visits are recommended to ensure your dog's good health. To help maintain freshness of the food, seal the bag tightly after each use and store in a cool, dry location.
Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time.
- Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days.
- Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days.
- Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days.
- Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

My young boy, a beagle mix puppy, has been enjoying this feed. It has a ton of nutrients and vitamins packed into it, and a good amount of fat, so it is great for his development. I liked that the feed pellets are very small, so they are easy for pups to consume with teeth development. We have had some pups in the past that have had grain allergens or sensitivities to certain ingredients like peas, so we keep that in mind when trying new feeds. We use Nutrena feeds a lot around our farm, so we wanted to try this pup dry food for him. Because he is growing fast, we won't have him on this puppy feed for much longer, but I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high calorie chicken-based feed for this puppy.

Loyall Life Puppy Chicken and Brown Rice Recipe has been a great food for my puppy. She was so excited to try it that she wouldn't even wait for me to take a picture before digging in! She loved the taste and ate it right away. The kibble size is small, making it an excellent choice for young puppies or those being weaned. Even though my puppy is larger, she seemed to enjoy the smaller nuggets even more. I also appreciate that chicken is the first ingredient and that the recipe includes fruits and vegetables. Since I already feed her fresh fruits and veggies, it's nice to see them included in her food as well. I would highly recommend this puppy food for puppies of any size.

I originally got this to offer to my picky 6 month old puppy. We have to rotate brands to encourage her to finish her meals, so when I saw this new formula, I thought we would try it! Unsurprisingly, she declined to try a bite of it. I don’t fault the food for this at all. Lucky for her, her big sister who is 11 months old will gladly eat whatever she doesn’t. This kibble is budget friendly, and I love that the first ingredients are chicken and chicken meal. We would gladly offer this again in the future.
