Regular veterinarian visits are recommended to ensure your dog's good health. To help maintain freshness of the food, seal the bag tightly after each use and store in a cool, dry location.
Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time.
- Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days.
- Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days.
- Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days.
- Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

Perfect for your large breed dog ! I have a 65lb standard poodle , the kibble size is perfect around the size of a dime , its not greasy or foul smelling it smells

I have a 65lb standard poodle , the kibble size is perfect around the size of a dime , its not greasy or foul smelling it smells mostly like chicken which is a plus in my book. My guy has readily accepted this as dinner which comming from a usually picky boy was suprising ! Even my little guys ( 10lbs ) have been trying to snag bites out of the bowl ! The first ingredient is chicken so that makes me feel very good about offering this to my babe !23% protein is perfect for active dogs ! And its not an overly calorie dense food so its great for those chubby babies tooooo

My big 90 pound dog thinks this food is delicious! His mom likes that he has a shiny coat and that chicken is the first ingredient. I’ve been really happy with this dog food. My dog gets excited at every meal, and I’ve noticed a healthier coat, more energy, and no digestive issues since switching. The ingredients seem high quality, and I feel good knowing I’m feeding something nutritious. I’ll definitely be buying it again.

Both my dogs were fed with another kibble so I had to wean them off of that and start replacing it with the large breed food. Both of them really enjoyed the change

Both of them really enjoyed the change in the size of the food and the flavor. They really dug in during feeding and their bowls were empty...everyday. I no longer need to sprinkle an appetizer or chicken to encourage them to eat. Awesome all around, we'll be changing permanently!

The kibbles have a large, flat, round shape fit for large dogs like mine. It has pre-and probiotics, and I could tell because there was no tummy rumbling from my pups. I am very impressed with Nutrena Loyall Life Large Breed Chicken & Brown Rice dog food. Chicken is the first ingredient, and it includes so many beneficial nutrients that I usually have to provide through separate supplements. It contains glucosamine and chondroitin for joint support, L-carnitine, taurine for heart health, and Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids for healthy skin and coat. It also includes prebiotics and probiotics to help support my fur babies' digestive health. The real test, though, was whether my dogs would eat it—and they absolutely loved it! They gobbled up every bite of kibble. That's a huge win in my book. I'm very happy with this food and plan to switch my dogs to it permanently.
