Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time.
- Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days.
- Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days.
- Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days.
- Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

Our dogs adjusted to Nutrena Loyall Life Grain-Free Beef with Sweet Potato Recipe right away, and the transition was incredibly smooth. They ate it immediately, had no upset stomach, and their digestion has stayed consistent with no issues. I also like that it is a grain-free dry food with a beef and sweet potato recipe, and the larger bag is convenient for feeding multiple dogs. The biggest difference we have noticed is their coats. Their fur looks healthier, softer, and shinier since starting this food. One of our dogs had a thin bald patch after a flea issue we treated, and the fur has grown back beautifully — honestly better than before. Overall, this has been a great fit for our dogs and we are very happy with it.

My dog (although he identifies as a garbage disposal) has a pretty sensitive stomach especially to poultry so we decided to give the beef a try and he seems to enjoy it and licks the bowl clean and has yet to have any stomach issues! Its a great value for the size bag and ingredients wise it seems to be a really good mid grade food choice! I would definitely buy this again.

Funny thing is, our Mom said "wow, this doesn't have a heavy dog food scent, it's nice and mild." She doesn't know what she's talking about. Lol. We lol forward to getting our food bowls set out each morning and we're really good at cleaning them up. Thank you for letting us try out this new food. We really like it alot!
