Regular veterinarian visits are recommended to ensure your dog's good health. To help maintain freshness of the food, seal the bag tightly after each use and store in a cool, dry location.
Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time.
- Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days.
- Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days.
- Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days.
- Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

I absolutely love Nutrena Loyall Life Chicken and Brown Rice! My dog approves and I love the clean ingredients. Finding real chicken as the first ingredient at this price point is awesome, and it doesn't have any of the cheap fillers like corn or wheat that mess with his stomach. He absolutely scarfs it down every single mealtime so the flavor is definitely a hit. I just mix it with water so sofen it and he loves it! Finding a good quality food at a decent price is difficult and this food fits the bill. It is just a really dependable, high-quality dog food that has made my pup energetic, healthy, and happy without breaking the bank. It also has made his poop firmer which makes backyard clean up easier. Bubby said he definately recommends this food. :)

I was excited to have my two aussiedoodles try Nutrena Loyall Life chicken and rice since it is for all life stages. One of my dogs is 4 and the other is less than a year. I love the idea of being able to feed them the same food. This formula has high quality ingredients unfortunately my dogs are not interested. They will eat it out of my hand but when left in their bowls they only eat their previous kibble. The smell of the dog food is pretty mild. Size of the kibble is good.

We’ve been really happy with Nutrena Loyall Life Chicken & Brown Rice! Our dogs enjoy the taste, and I love that real chicken is the first ingredient. It also contains prebiotics and probiotics for digestive support, along with fruits and vegetables. Since switching, our dogs have done great on it—their coats look healthy, they maintain a good weight, and it seems to be easy on their stomachs. For the quality, I also think it’s a great value compared with many of the more expensive brands we’ve tried. Overall, it’s a food I feel good about feeding our dogs and would definitely recommend to other dog owners!

The kibble is a good size and easy for him to chew, and the chicken and brown rice recipe seems gentle on his stomach. I also like that the food has a pleasant smell without being overly strong. The 6-pound bag is a convenient size, easy to store, and helps keep the food fresh. My dog eats it eagerly and has had no digestive problems since switching to it. His energy has been good, and his coat looks healthy. Overall, this seems like a good-quality food at a reasonable price, and I would purchase it again.
