Feeding Instructions

Consult your veterinarian for guidance on your dog's optimal body condition and adjust feeding amounts as needed. Clean, fresh water needs to be available at all times. Regular veterinarian visits are recommended to ensure your dog's good health. To help maintain freshness of the food, seal the bag tightly after each use and store in a cool, dry location.
Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time.
- Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days.
- Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days.
- Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days.
- Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

I've been searching for a dog food that truly supports my boy's health. Loyall Life Beef & Barley has been a total game changer. It's packed with real beef, wholesome fruits and veggies, and includes the added benefits of pre- and probiotics along with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Finding a formula that eliminates corn, wheat, and soy has made a noticeable difference. His coat looks fantastic, the itching has definitely decreased, and best of all-he absolutely loves the food. A nutritious recipe that actually delivers results and keeps my pup happy is a win in my book. If you're looking for a cleaner, more thoughtful dog food, this one is worth trying.

I was so pleased that Chewy provided a sample of Lloyal Life Beef and Barley since I had been feeding Loyall Life Lamb and Brown Rice for some time that I purchased elsewhere since Chewy does not carry Loyall Life for reasons I do not know. I (or rather my dogs) find these grain inclusive LL recipes to be very palatable (and one of my Setters is a very picky eater). Their stools are quite firm and the stool volume is much lower than other foods I have fed, including some more expensive brands. In other words, LL seems to be very digestible for some reason. Perhaps it's the Opticook process and/or the multiple probiotics they include. I really wish Chewy would start carrying Loyall life. I asked a question of LL customer support (this is Cargill of course) and I was very impressed with the response which was very detailed and displayed a considerable amount of technical knowledge.

It has excellent ingredients with beef and beef meal as the first ingredients which is one thing I look for in a quality food for her. There also is NO corn, wheat, soy or byproducts and no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. It also contains both prebiotics and probiotics. The kibble pieces are small which my girl Panda prefers. So I would highly recommend this food if you are looking for a quality kibble for your dog and I hope that Panda chooses it as her new favorite.

Princess absolutely loves Nutrena Loyall Life Beef & Barley Adult dog food. It's made in the USA and I love that! I also love that this is premium dog food made with prebiotics and probiotics for good digestion and that Taurine is added for heart health. This is dog chow that my girl actually begs for. So, the chow must be really flavorful too. Princess is a large gal, but she's dainty and she prefers to eat smaller bite-sized pieces of dog food and this dog chow is exactly that. So, Nutrena Loyall Life Beef & Barley is a huge hit with her.

They didn’t get sick of this food after a while like they do with others. The kibble seemed easy for them to eat and they transitioned to it without any issues. It's great finding a food that both dogs enjoy, especially since they can be picky in different ways. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality food their dogs will actually look forward to eating.

We've been feeding our 7 year old Olde English Bulldogge this Beef & Barley Recipe for about a week now. I'm pleased with the quality and ingredients (beef and vegetables, pro and prebiotics, omega fatty acids). The kibble is smaller than my dog is used to but she doesn't seem to notice and eagerly eats her meals. With her sensitive skin issues and aging I think this will be good nutritional support.
