I can't tell you how well Welactin works because I have ordered this product twice now and it hasn't arrived with any kind of safety seal, so once again it looks like I will be returning this product and ordering it elsewhere. There IS supposed to be a safety seal, as there is a review of a photo of this product in the reviews for this product and the person who wrote the review said the product had leaked because the seal was broken. I have no idea how well Welactin works or how my cats would like it because after ordering it twice with no seal I haven't been able to try it, but I can review the condition it arrived in and not having a safety seal is not acceptable.

I love this item, I can only use a tiny bit due to the fish oil and other ingredients because my cat is a diabetic. My vet recommended it and his coat is softer, he is healthier from what I can (by his stools etc etc). If you have a diabetic cat you can still give it to them, just add it in with their food. I do a half dose every three days or so. I haven't noticed any negative effects so far and whats great is my cat LOVES IT! It must taste good in his food because he is normally SO picky!! 5 Stars all around!

I’m sure I was probably talking to an AI bot, but I did the chat with the vet on my cat Jack. Jack was experiencing losing a lot of hair with flaky skin. I set up a humidifier. I was brushing him daily, and I even got him an omega tube food in hopes that it would help. But nothing was helping so I clicked on the chat with the vet. And they recommended this and within one week his skin is no longer flaking and it’s not losing hair as bad. Plus, this is the big plus, he eats it! I put it on his food and he eats it!!! I was afraid that it’d be something. I’d have to try to figure out how to get down him. If your cat has flaky dry skin, you need to try this.

My boy had an extremely itchy back in. The chewy vet recommend this product. I tried to use but my boy, Cole wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. Even when I mixed it in his favorite moist food. I tried just using half of the dose again in his favorite food. I finally gave up and no longer tried to give it to him. I do still appreciate the chewy vet trying to help my boy. Unfortunately this was a no go for him.

This was recommended by our veterinarian for our cat with sensitive skin - itchy ears - also sensitive stomach. A small dose is mixed once a day into wet food. It relieves itchy ears and damage from scratching, and makes the fur very soft and lustrous. She tolerates it well. I recommend asking your veterinarian about this treatment first.

Our vet recommended this specific supplement for our arthritic girlie, and after using it for a few months, I would say it’s helping. Our girl is more active and playful than she’s ever been. However, the packaging is awful. It was annoying when we started buying this supplement. We had to set the bottle in a glass because the leaking was inevitable after use, but the bottle has been redesigned and it's 10 times worse. Getting the oil into a measuring device is painful, and it still leaks! Please, please put this supplement into a bottle with a dropper.

My 3 Cats don't like the Omega 3

No matter how I try to add it to any of their food, they refuse to eat the food! I tried layering it on their wet food, mixing it, nothing works and I wind up throwing the food out. Cats have a strong sense of smell and they would rather not eat then have this in their food!

My cats vet recently recommended I mix Wellactin in with another supplement one of my senior cats is taking to help with his achy joints. Since my other kitty experiences dry skin due to a condition, I gave it to her as well and it has done WONDERS for their coats. I’m ordering my next bottle and plan on making this a regular part of their routine once a day!

I don't know if it is working or not. I assume it is. But it is so messy to give! I have oil on me after every dose! I even bought a different bottle to squeeze out drops. Still oily everywhere. It does not have a bad odor so it is easy to mix in with food.

Recommended by vet for cats with arthritis (can help eyes and coat also). After one or two samples (with Churu also in the bowl), Roo decided it was GOOD stuff. She licks the bowl clean every time and is very possessive over it, lol. When I offer her Churu now (cat lovers know how addictive that is), she looks at me waiting for the fish oil! I suspect not every cat would like it but, it's been a success for this girl. Does it work? Not sure we really know but, it's not that expensive and no drawbacks.
