Nutramax Denamarin with S-Adenosylmethionine & Silybin Tablets Liver Supplement for Medium Dogs, 30 count

This is a fantastic supplement that our vet prescribed for increased liver values. I just want to warn everyone to PLEASE share their dog's detailed diet with their doctor and INSIST on analyzing whether that has something to do with the liver values. I consider myself an informed and caring guardian, and I messed up big time, so I want to warn others. We found out our homemade food was NOT balanced (99% of homemade dog food is not; the balance is very delicate!!!), and our beloved girl is being deprived of essential nutrients and vitamins (essentially nutritionally starved) as a result. We even kept a few serving of pre-formulated dry food in her weekly schedule. But that wasn't enough to balance things out. Her liver responded to the imbalanced homemade food by freaking out, despite us thinking we were doing everything right by spending loads buying the best ingredients to cook with for her. PLEASE don't make this mistake! Use pre-formulated food, ALWAYS! You'd be shocked what you can miss and the life-altering symptoms it causes. They can't tell us they feel bad. My dog looks healthy and loved, and yet she's been nutritionally starved due to my well-intentioned attempt to feed her the best food possible. PLEASE consider pre-formulated food, and if you insist on homemade, PLEASE speak with a board-certified vet nutritionist. It's really essential!

I’m used to very quick delivery. This one was delayed by two days. I waited too long before ordering the medicine and food I needed, and then ordered a $20 plus bag of the wrong food. I had opened it before I noticed so I donated it to the Capital Humane Society and bought a bag local. They were happy. My biggest disappointment was not qualifying for the $30 bonus on my $115 order. There needs to be an easier explanation preferably at the checkout phase that tells you what of your purchase has qualified so you can see what you need to add. At the time I was rushed because I was ordering late.

I specifically mentioned delivery ton3 rd floor in front of my door, but FedEx always leaves on the 1st floor though I called many times. Really annoyed about the situation never changes.

Great quick shipping from Chewy as always and nice people to deal with. The pill itself was a bit big and hard to get our dog to swallow it. Next time I would have gone for the chewable version. This med seems to be prescribed often for liver concerns.
