Is there a difference between Dasuquin Advanced and Dasuquin?

Dasaquin Advanced would be a veterinary clinic exclusive formula at this time. We encourage you to speak to your vet to determine which formula would be best for your pet.

We have been giving our 9 yr. old lab cosequin w/ HA for over a year. If we switch him to Dosequin, does he still need the 2 tablets for the first 4weeks, or is maintaining 1 per day okay?

This supplement requires an increased intake during the initial 4 - 6 week administration period, even if other supplements have been used.

Is this packaged in the big bottle shown or in blister packs like I bought from the vet? I'd like to cut down on packaging so the jar/bottle appeals to me.

I just crumbled the pills into pieces and mixed it in with her food, and she had no problem at all eating it. Our vet talked to us about a series of arthritis shots (very expensive and a major commitment) to alleviate some of the pain. A friend told us about this supplement and we tried it to see what would happen. We have our girl back!!! She’s playful again and walking without any problems. This supplement is incredible!! About the 2 week mark we noticed a much higher level of energy, spunkiness, and very playful again. I couldn't believe it. We have been giving him other supplements, such as the "Better Than Ears" along with other vitamins and Active Chews Advanced Hip & Joint Support Dog Supplement. About a yr ago arthritis creeped up in one hip so we are back to 2x day. Our last order came recently and I noticed the size of the pill is about 3/4 the size, concerns we aren’t getting the same dose we had previously. I know lots of consumables have reduced size n charge the same, just disappointed in Nutramax not Chewy.
