She has zoomies again!

My 16 year old kitty, Annabelle, lost her brother 6 months ago. When this happened, she decided she wanted to shake things up a bit and refused to eat her joint

My 16 year old kitty, Annabelle, lost her brother 6 months ago. When this happened, she decided she wanted to shake things up a bit and refused to eat her joint supplement treats, her prescription food, and pill pockets (which she devoured while we were in hospice mode with her brother). Annabelle has arthritis, hyperthyroidism, urinary crystals, missing teeth, and she has no problem going on a multi-day hunger strike to get her way! I didn't know what I was going to do about her joint pain because she would no longer take pills, going to the vet is excessively stressful for her so injections are out of the question (we of course go to the vet at least a couple times a year to manage her conditions), she will eat around stuff I've tried to mix in her food, and forcing meds in her is also incredibly stressful! Oh and she's great at hiding, so if I do something to upset her, she's going into hiding for a few days. I decided to try this product and I hoped she would tolerate the taste enough to give it a chance. IT WORKED! She didn't go on a hunger strike, and after finishing the first bottle following the dosing directions, I noticed her coming out of her room more, jumping up into chairs again, and even getting zoomies playing with toys! I am so thankful to have found something that works for my fussy princess so she can attempt to age gracefully with less pain. Bonus points for being affordable!

HUGE Benefit

I have two 14 year old seniors who are in good health, but had started to slow down some. I thought this might help, but the difference has been huge! After a month

I have two 14 year old seniors who are in good health, but had started to slow down some. I thought this might help, but the difference has been huge! After a month or two, I am seeing a lot more of their old kitten selves. They have more bursts of zoomie energy and the stairs seem easier for both. It makes me really happy to see. I have tried the regular Cosequin sprinkle capsules and the senior version. The difference is the senior version adds marine lipids and yeast extract (contains omega 3s,DHA and EPA) which seems to do something extra beyond the regular formula for my cats. They have been more playful and interested in toys on the senior formula. My girl was not thrilled I added this at first. After a few days of grazing in protest, the taste grew on her and she is back to happily eating all her food again. My guy will eat anything and this addition did not deter him at all from his usual speed eating. Stick with it consistently. It really does take six or so weeks to really show its effect, but the payoff is worth the struggle of a picky eater and having to restock each month!

I didn’t love how it arrived in the mail (not sure if it was packaged this way or just got so badly mangled during transit), but I guess in the scheme of things

I didn’t love how it arrived in the mail (not sure if it was packaged this way or just got so badly mangled during transit), but I guess in the scheme of things since this wasn’t a fragile item it doesn’t really matter too much. To actually review the product itself, it so far has seemed to help my baby girl quite a bit. For only taking this about 2 weeks now, my 15 year old seems to have more energy and is able to move better than she had been. I haven’t noticed any limping in her back legs from what I’ve assumed has been arthritis, and she also seems to have a much easier time jumping up and down. Surprisingly, she also loves this stuff in her food. As she’s gotten older, she’s become very picky especially with her dry food. Now when I mix this in with wet and a little bit of dry, she’s more apt to eat everything and not just lick off the wet food. Not sure what it is about it that’s making her food more appealing, but I’m definitely not complaining! Happy to see my girl doing so well! Will be buying for her again!

Good results

The ingredients in Nutramax for senior cats are intended to reduce joint inflammation and pain . These ingredients are in human supplements also for joint discomfort

The ingredients in Nutramax for senior cats are intended to reduce joint inflammation and pain . These ingredients are in human supplements also for joint discomfort. I have benefited from them and thought I would try this product on my 17 + year old male cat. Turner was a stray who showed up in the woods. He was estimated by a vet to be over 5 years old. I have had him for 12 years, so he is at least 17. He had been limping. One of the vets recommended a Shot now available for arthritis in cats. I was told it interferes with the cat brain perception of pain, but does nothing for the joint. This did not seem to be the most beneficial for the health of the cat. Instead, I ordered the Cosequin product. During the second week, Turner stopped limping. He also has FIV and has never been a high energy cat.

Works well but not good enough

My super acrobatic now 13-year-old Kat, Bella has been having pretty bad arthritis for the last year. We tried just the Cosequin and it didn’t seem to make much

My super acrobatic now 13-year-old Kat, Bella has been having pretty bad arthritis for the last year. We tried just the Cosequin and it didn’t seem to make much of an impact. Our vet then put her on Solensia monthlyinjections, but after the third one, she became temporarily paralyzed which apparently does happen for a decent number of cats, and so we stopped giving her those immediately. Next we moved to Adequan injections and that helped more than the Cosequin had but definitely not as as much as the Solencia. Recently, we added the Cosequin back in and there is a marked improvement in her mobility and activity

Cosequin Joint Health improved my cats stride

He is 16 and he clearly had stiffness in his joints. Careful stair climbs now have bounce to them. Chairs that were a tough jump look much easier. I'm glad that

Easy to administer. No problem giving it to Fang.

It’s a bit early to be sure as we’re not through the first bottle yet, but I think Fang is feeling better. He doesn’t pull away when I pet or brush his hind legs

It’s a bit early to be sure as we’re not through the first bottle yet, but I think Fang is feeling better. He doesn’t pull away when I pet or brush his hind legs. A couple of weeks ago he wouldn’t let me touch his hindquarters. Mix the contents of the capsule into wet food and really well until all the white is dissolved. The better you mix it the less as the cat will notice it.

My 12 -year-old cat has been on one Consequin a day for about two years. I recently purchase Nutrmax Cosequin due to her age. She is playful and often acts like a kitten. Before Consequin she was less active and would often be limping. I highly recommend Consequin -- either formula.

Crystal loves her Cosequin

Crystal has some arthritis now, as she is 18 years old. I sprinkle a capsule of Cosequin onto her wet Beyond food each evening. Her paws and legs thank you!
