Nutramax Cosequin ASU Powder Joint Health Supplement for Horses, 2.9-lb tub

Moon is a dwarf miniature horse. She has many health issues because of this and was struggling to move and get back up after lying down. Moon used to love going outside but could not get over a small board to get to the gate without assistance. After using this product for just a short while, I found Moon was able to get outside on her own . It has been at least a year since she was able to do this.

I started her on this when her gait was getting choppy about six years ago at age 23. She has been moving well ever since.

Two out of our four horses use this product. We were so impressed on how it made our 17 year old boy feel that we started giving our 19 year old after we bought him. They both have responded well to it so well that now they both kick up their heels in the arena. It's so good to see.

All I can say is WOW! I started my mare on this on August 1 and a week later amazing results. I Bought a new mare with arthritis in hocks and I trail ride. I was thinking I may have to give up my mare to another home as I wasn’t able to ride her without limping and stumbling. The vet recommended this product as he has his own horses on it. I tried previcox the night before and then right before riding with limited results. I added this supplement and within a week I did three hour trail ride that was quite rugged. I kept holding my breathe on the steep hills and not one limp. She even cantered which she was never willing to do. The vet also recommended hoof boots for her and fly wraps to keep stress off the hocks. All of this is helping Memphis to move without pain. I still can’t believe a supplement could make that much of a difference but it did. I know they say that the time it takes to show changes varies but for me it was super quick. Vet also said once you put them on this supplement don’t take them off. I plan on doing just that !!
