Nulo Freestyle Senior Grain-Free Trout & Sweet Potato Recipe Dry Dog Food, 6-lb bag

So Scarlett was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes with ketoasodosis when she was 8 and a half. She was in the ER for a week until they found out. She needed 2 shots of insulin everyday for the rest of her life. This came with a diet change and feeding schedule. I went through about 10 different dog foods trying to see who had the best protein, fat, to fiber ratio diabetics needed. She's allergic to chicken and lamb, and beef had too much protien and not enough fat. This food was the winner. I mix it with wet food and her hip suppliments and vitamins and shes 13 years and 7 months and doing great. Sure we have bad days but the good is still stronger. Good food is good fuel for her and this recipe has not failed me yet.

I've been using new love since it first came out it was a really decent food it didn't have a lot of garbage in it like processed pieces of chicken that really shouldn't be in anybody's food it's disgusting had deboned chicken and doesn't use a lot of fillers and it has gotten independent five-star reviews my only complaint is since you first started selling new low the prices have just substantially risen a lot they say it's because movie stars now finally found new low and now you raise the price I think that dog food that is a decent dog food should be accessible to everyone and the price is a little high

We recently decided to make the switch to Nulo Grain Free to see if it'd help out German Shepherd/Husky's joint and arthritis issues. She's already in supplements and an anti-inflammatory, but we weren't noticing much improvement. After a 10- day transition to Nulo and being on it for nearly a month now, we are seeing a big improvement in our dog's activity levels. She has a lot less stiffness and has started playing again! Also, this food is more dense than what she was previously on, so the daily serving size is less. (So it might be more expensive, but it takes less each feeding so lasts longer!) Other than the obvious health benefits, I also appreciate the re-sealing bag!

Received a damaged bag so Chewy sent out a replacement for no charge, however made my dog sick. Diarrhea, vomiting for 4 days straight. Had to feed him rice with bland chicken to reset his stomach. Thank goodness, he didn’t become dehydrated that I needed to take him to the vet to be seen. . been reading the ingredients. I think the probiotic might’ve been too harsh for my senior dog sensitive stomach.
