We've had great success with Nulo Senior. One of my dogs has mild pancreas issues, so I always keep an eye on her fat content. She also used to experience seasonal hair loss. We are on our second bag of this food and the difference in both of my dogs coats is AMAZING. My male has always had a nice coat, but this is the first winter since adopting my girl 7 years ago that she had not had hair loss. Not only that, but she legit is fuzzier than she's ever been! My girl also has some mild arthritis that becomes uncomfortable for her in the winter. While she is on a joint supplement, I do feel this food has helped with this issue as well. I am a big believer in adding whole food toppers to the kibble. It allows me to vary their proteins and offer some fresh food options. So rarely do my dogs turn up their nose at feeding time. But I even use this kibble in their snuffle mats and they go for it.

Due to the recent decision from Champion dog food to no longer supply Chewy with their Orijen brand dog food I had to switch my dogs food. He's so picky that I'm always having to mix wet food in for every meal! He loved Orijen and so I wanted something as close to Orijen as possible! Dog food advisor gave this food 5 stars and i do too! It smells fresh and my picky golden actually is willing to eat it dry!!! It's much cheaper than Orijen and almost as good! It has less meat content and more veggies and such than Orijen but the majority of dog foods are made this way anyway. But the ingredients in it are very high quality compared to most! My only complaint is that I wish it had more glucosamine and chondroiton for his hips and joints! Other than that it's excellent

This review is difficult as I am trying to find a food that my 18 yr. old Beagle mix will eat. She has been on the same brand food ever since I got her, at around age 10. She stopped eating. She was diagnosed with a Pericardial Effusion last September but about 2 months after, she was going strong. Her heart was absolutely fine last month. It's hard. So I tried a small bag of Nulo and she scarfed it down and for over a week. So I got the bigger bag. 2 days ago, she stopped eating. It is a good sized kibble for dogs with older teeth and it will soften with water and she loved the taste, at least for a while. Hope she gets over this as the food is NOT cheap.

My senior newf loves this food! She has been quite picky about kibble in the past and has been on the same food for a while because of it. However, her old food switched formulas and her tummy didn't like the change so I had to change her food. I opted for this one, out of recommendation from other Newfie owners. Marlow loves it! Her coat looks better and her stool is back to normal. Seems to be a good fit for my girl.

Great results!!

Rescued a 10yr old German Shepard mix at the start of the pandemic that was not in the best of shape. She was fed human food, had obvious liver issues, weighed 54lb (this dog should have been a 30lb dog), had difficulty walking, was in obvious joint pain, didn't want to do extended walks, always had an upset stomach and was going to take some nursing to get her into better shape. Have tried a few other senior foods but for a dog that was so food driven, it was surprising that she would bore of them. Also, while they helped in her gradual weight reduction, her tummy never seemed to stabilize and there were still signs of liver stress. Fast forward.... She loves this kibble, her tummy has stabilized and the signs of liver stress are gone. Long hikes are a breeze, limps have been very few, and at a now 32lbs she looks trim with an excellent sheen on her coat, she is super high energy and loves chasing squirrels like a dog half her age. This was a great find.

I've been using new love since it first came out it was a really decent food it didn't have a lot of garbage in it like processed pieces of chicken that really shouldn't be in anybody's food it's disgusting had deboned chicken and doesn't use a lot of fillers and it has gotten independent five-star reviews my only complaint is since you first started selling new low the prices have just substantially risen a lot they say it's because movie stars now finally found new low and now you raise the price I think that dog food that is a decent dog food should be accessible to everyone and the price is a little high

Mr Merfey, is my 10-11 yr old cocker spaniel. He has an old low back injury. He is also an opportunistic food theif. Our other dog, a great pyrenees, is not. In fact, he is one to wait until he is hungry to eat. I've never had a dog like that! Over the last year, Merfey has frequently helped himself to Chance's food bowl, and has put on some pounds. The weight had really slowed him down. He's was sleeping a lot more, had a harder time jumping onto the bed, wasn't as playful & was itching. I have a suspician, he is allergic to chicken. He suddenly seemed so old. After one short week on Nulo, I am thrilled to report, he is back to being his bubbly, wigglebutt self. He stopped scratching too! I know it's a bit pricey, but I no longer need to give him the expensive supplements he was getting. They are already in the food! With all the food & treat recalls, I feel so much more assured of his safety with the Nulo brand. My only regret is that I didn't switch sooner.

Works really well! My mom had my dog and cats on Iams of all things until I started buying the pet food myself. I didn’t transition her slowly enough at first so going from a gross food to really high quality food upset her stomach but once I extended the transition period she started loving the food! Now she eats whenever I fill her bowl instead of grazing throughout the day and shes lost the weight from the grain filled garbage food!
