Will Nulo Freestlye Salmon& Pea soften if water is added to it?

Answer by ChewyJan 16, 2019
To soften the kibble, take about a ¼ cup of filtered water and add it to the top of the bowl of kibble. This will also moisten and enhance the flavor of the pet food.

Can I give my dog different flavors of the same dog food, like Nulo Salmon one day and Nulo Turkey another day? I've always stuck to the same flavor but would like to mix it up a bit.

Answer by ChewyOct 06, 2019
Nulo’s diets are rotational but transitioning is always required just to make sure your canine isn't suffering from any major stomach upset.

Bob and Argo here. We like eating frogs and dirt and our buddy Chiqui's food that his mom puts out for him. We like eating cat poop and deer parts that we find in the woods. We like eating corn chips and cake and pie and cookies. Mom hates it when eat that stuff and says it's important that we eat nutritious food that doesn't have a lot of extra ingredients or stuff that will make us sick. So we tried to eat the food she brought home, but we really hated most of it. Then our Mom found this stuff. We like it. She likes it. We still like eating cat poop and deer parts and frogs, but we like this stuff too and, since it makes Mom happy when we eat it, we eat it all the time.

We love Nulo anyway, but we weren't using freestyle, we were using the Medal series, which was also salmon flavor. Opie tore this food up. We got the big bag, because he only gets a cup a day (and doesn't finish it all, he's a small dog) and it will last us until the beginning of November and its the middle of July! That will average out to about 8 dollars a month. Not too bad! I definitely recommend this food! It even smells like salmon (but it doesn't smell bad)

I have 3 frenchies and my 2 girls started developing good allergies out of nowhere, changed their food several times and only got worst. This is the only food that does not have added ingredients like chicken byproduct ....and so on. The only food that helped my dogs with their allergies and they love it too!

Louie loves it . If you live in Charleston South Carolina you know Louie ; if Louie is happy you’re happy. But seriously: looks more expensive than royal canin on paper but it’s a bigger bag. Louie got sick of royal canin, but he’s psyched when he’s about to get Nulo . It’s always a rush when you’re trying to change foods on a frenchie . This was painless !

Off of chicken because of allergies. Food is great, no more hot spots and rashes. It does smell a little (like fish). Since its grain free please supplement with Uncle Ben's white rice. I add 4 tablespoons of cooked rice to each meal. There is a 2019 FDA report about grain free and link to cardiomyopathy. Ask your vet or look it up. (Does contain turkey.)

I wanted my French Bulldog to be on the best food for him. I saw the reviews for this one, and decided to try him on it. He had some dry skin patches previously, now his coat is shiny and those dry patches are almost gone. He likes it and that is also a plus! I feel good feeding him something that is healthy for him!

This Frenchie is stubborn when it comes to her food, but this food was irresistible! She takes breaks while she eats to circle the room and catch her breath. Then continues to chow down. Also, with all her allergies this food has been great so far. (1 week on the food)

No more stinky farts!

So I did a deep dive down a rabbit hole to find top tier dog food for my fluffy frenchie Leo. This stuff isn't the BEST of the best, cuz who can afford that right?

So I did a deep dive down a rabbit hole to find top tier dog food for my fluffy frenchie Leo. This stuff isn't the BEST of the best, cuz who can afford that right? But this stuff is pretty high up there in the rankings and it's somewhat, mostly affordable, sometimes lol. Since switching dog food, Leo's poops have been nice little logs instead of mush, and his facts don't stink anymore! Amazing! He usually crop dusts the fam and clears the room, not with this food tho! He also gets fuller with less since it's so high in protein. Very impressed with the ingredients also!!! Will be sticking to this food for now on!!!
