Darker Than Expected

75lb boy with a 31in chest and 18in neck. Purchased a 7. NSDW recommends a 6. Six doesn’t give my boy any room. This is my third harness from NSDW and I love them. They are perfect for hiking and day-to-day traveling, if I take my dog to stores. We have done both mountainous hiking, and flat terrain and my boy loves to smell everything and run and roll along the way, and these harnesses don’t cause any issues and allow him to freely move. My dog is also a short haired, single coated dog who rubs easily, and these haven’t caused any issues with that. These harnesses are my go to for everything. The ONLY thing they miss is a handle, but I can even look past that. The only thing worth noting is I seemed to get a darker version than everyone else is getting? I purchased teal but it’s pretty dark. I don’t deem it a problem and think it’s a gorgeous color, but it might be worth noting for people who are looking for that specific shade of teal

Fantastic ergonomic harness! I got a size 5 for my 40lb standard poodle (26” chest girth) and it’s the best harness I’ve ever tried. The Y front design allows for more comfortable shoulder movement when walking, and as a bonus, it doesn’t cause the “armpit” matting that other harnesses we’ve tried do. It’s also padded and lined with a smooth fabric, so really minimizes the impact daily wear can have on a curly coat. Also love that it has a front clip as well as a back clip. We’ve had it a little over a year now (bought from the brand site) and it’s still in excellent condition. I haven’t had to wash it even, just occasionally wiped mud off with a damp rag. Note: the chest straps are adjustable but the neck straps are fixed, so be sure to measure your dog. Size 5 works great for our poodle, but if she had a bigger head I would have sized up. My only complaint is that Nonstop doesn’t make a teal leash to match!
