Now Fresh Grain Free is top quality food for our girl! This has been the ONLY thing that has worked on her coat and skin issues. Our lab mix girl is almost 11 years old and suffering from thyroid and some type of liver issue which make it difficult to keep weight off of her and in trying to limit her fats, etc... It affects her skin and coat. We have tried many, many things over the past several years and NOW is what is working on the coat and skin issues. We finally have shiny fur and healthy skin. Now to start dropping some more weight IN SPITE of the thyroid issue -- we will continue to exercise and cut back a little on the treats. We use NOW dry in conjunction with Petcurean's Go canned! Thanks chewy.com for the great selection of products you carry, the fast service and free shipping. This makes my monthly errands a bit less challenging.

My poor guy, Sulley, has had horrible allergies for the past 5 years. He is allergic to chicken & lamb. I have tried all the frozen fresh foods on the market, he refuses to eat them. Hard to find healthy foods that are chicken & lamb free. So for years I’ve made his food with grass fed organic beef. He still didn’t love it. So I tried out a few different kibbles and Sulley likes this food a lot. His skin is doing well and he’s feeling great.

My English bulldog, 8, has put on her happy senior weight of the century but still likes to run ... I know right. We were looking for a new kibble since Acana switched to American made and the protein content was too high for her. Then this popped up and we decided to try it. She gobbles it up and seems to stay full longer. We have only had it a little close to a month but we don't have to spike it for her to eat it. We feed her two cups a day with green beans and some salmon. Her fur is shiny and we are thinking of switching to the fish once we see those love pounds pop off!

I ate some to be sure it was OK for Max. Tastes like dog food to me but Max loves it. He needs to lose less than 10% of his total weight so we are about to open the 2nd 25 lb. bag and continue the program. Ingredients and most important fat content of NOW Senior is good to better compared to prescription products. You will pay a premium price for NOW but not as much as for eqivalent vet prescribed. For now we will stay with NOW.

I am a first time customer. I am weaning my dog off of her dog food and slowly adding Now Fresh Senior, I gave her a taste as soon as I received your food and she loved it at first bite. I absolutely love the ingredients, everything a senior dog would need in their diet! This food was recommended to me by someone that said her dog stopped itching from her allergies! So I am hoping my dog will benefit from this as well. I will keep you posted but so far so good!

Clear obvious noticable positive results!!!

Our Osita (purebred Rottweiler) was always in great shape! She was K-9 trained and a very healthy weight...until we got her fixed. She gained weight very quickly

Our Osita (purebred Rottweiler) was always in great shape! She was K-9 trained and a very healthy weight...until we got her fixed. She gained weight very quickly and we tried different foods here and there to help her shed the weight. Nothing was working. Vet said it was common that dogs gained weight after alteration. She did. She is now almost 11 years old and we started to really worry about her weight during her last visit to the vet to treat a virus. The vet recommended that we find a senior weight management dog food brand that we trusted. We researched. We found the Now brand. It was grain free too (which all our dogs are on). She liked it! No complaints, no protesting. She ate it all. Ok good. So now at about three weeks after starting her on the food we are noticing so many things about her...she is playing with the three younger rotties so much more, she appears to be losing weight (confirmation will come with the next vet visit), and she doesnt seem to prefer laying down! She is getting up and going outside with all of us to play! She is grabbing my hose and running into the yard with it (she used to do that when she was 2-3 years old)! She is acting like a much younger dog!! If you are thinking about it all I can say is just try it! What have you got to lose! We know this is adding time to her life with us which makes it all worth it really. As Im writing this she is over by the tv barking and jumping around every time an Olympic diver jumps for their dive! She's our crazy little girl again!!!!!

Our dog, Snausage, is 13 years old. About 3 months ago she suffered a bout of pancreatitis...it was scary, we thought we would lose her. After a weekend at the animal hospital with IV's and hand feedings by me, she was able to go home 2 meds, morning & night. Since none of the food is really for a pancreatitis diet, I went on line to find Petcurean. Between the meds and the grain-free senior wt mgmt recipe, Snausage is like a younger dog. She still has arthritis, but the formulation has support for that and she is one happy dog. She is alert (still has some hearing loss) and does her happy dance for cookies each night. I really feel this food has provided the nutrition she needs without overtaxing her organs. Thanks, Chewey for carrying this food. No one locally has it in stock (30 minutes away)...I go to my computer and there it is, with delivery within the next day or two.

I was introduced to this brand when I bought my Toy Poodle. My Toy Poodle first had the Puppy Formula and later the Adult Formula. When I bought my Toy Poodle, I already had a dog, an Australian Shepherd. My Australian Shepherd was eating a different brand of dog food. As I studied more about ingredients in dog food, I decided I would like to have my Australian Shepherd transition to eating the same food as my Toy Poodle was eating. So, I bought this Senior Formula for my Australian Shepherd. He ate this until he passed away (of old age).

For several years I've had a tough time with my dog licking his legs and paws. I've never been convinced it was allergies, although it seems to get worse in Spring, so perhaps it is. One day I decided to start feeding him a product that was lower in fat and protein, just in case the licking was being caused by upset stomach or some other digestive issue. Previously, I had been feeding very good quality grain free foods with a much higher fat and protein count, thinking higher protein was better. As my dog has aged (he's currently 9), I've realized he doesn't necessarily need that, and it's now too easy to overfeed him so that he gains weight. After less than two weeks on the Now kibble, I noticed that Joey was definitely licking less, seemed to beg less to be fed earlier than usual in the late afternoon, and generally seemed to be doing well on the Now. He has now been on it for about a month or so, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll continue to do well on it, while loosing a little bit of weight (as he needs to do). I don't know if the Now is responsible for these positive changes or not, but in any case I'm very happy that I decided to change his food - again. Maybe there are less allergens out there now, maybe he does better on lower fat & protein, or maybe he had developed an allergy to the fish kibble I was feeding him before. I really don't know. All I know for sure is that I intend to continue with the Now Senior Weight Mgmt food as I have been very pleased with it.

Been feeding this to my 12 year old jack Russell and my 14 year old pit lab for 2 years, and they love it. Their coats look good, and still it eat all of it every day. The lab has kidney failure and would not touch the kd science diet. This was recommended as an alternative because of the lower protien and she loves it. We were told she had weeks maybe months and we decided to feed her what she would eat so we took her off kd and switched her to the now senior and we have had 2 more wonderful years with her. I'm not saying its the food, but the vet is shocked that she is doing so well. I would recommend this to any senior dog owner!
