How do I measure the chest girth of my dog?

Answer by ChewyAug 21, 2026
Chest girth is measured around the widest part of the rib cage. Have your dog stand comfortably and wrap a soft measuring tape around their chest just behind the front legs. Make sure it’s snug without squeezing, then record the measurement.

Is it fleece lined

Answer by ChewyJul 23, 2026
The Non-stop Dogwear Fjord 2.0 Dog Raincoat is made with a three-layer polyester membrane and is not fleece-lined. The Non-stop Dogwear Fjord Lined Dog Raincoat does have a fleece lining.

Stands up to the PNW wet

My dog is skinny and fine-furred, so he doesn’t handle cold wet very well. We live in the PNW, so without a decent rain coat we’d be stuck inside a lot more often

My dog is skinny and fine-furred, so he doesn’t handle cold wet very well. We live in the PNW, so without a decent rain coat we’d be stuck inside a lot more often. I’ve invested in good gear for him, and can honestly say he’s most comfortable in this one- even more so than the similarly-priced Ruffwear gear we own. He’s a low rider so there’s no getting around a damp belly from wet trail , but it keeps him dry everywhere It covers. Truly waterproof. Well made and well designed.
