Nom Nom Freshly-Made Frozen Turkey Fare Dog Food, 14-oz pouch, case of 7

I was given the opportunity to try Nom Nom fresh food and selected the turkey. I was surprised when it arrived as I thought I'd receive a trial size but was sent an entire,7 package bag. The food came in an insulated box with dry ice. One issue is, unfortunately, the amount of materials needed to ship but you can recycle all of it. I slowly introduced the food to my 9 pound dog. The suggested serving for her weight is 1 cup per day and the food in each pouch, once open, will last 7 days per the product information. However, because I wasn't giving 1 cup per day, I separated it out and kept half the pouch frozen. I decided to give my gal a choice. One one section was her kibble, one section her routine wet food and the other Nom Nom. As the picture shows, she chose Nom Nom. She did it every time. The picture also shows the chunks of real food! The only improvement for people with small dogs is I'd offer smaller pouches if they are going to use it as an addition as they won't use the whole pouch in 7 days. That said, I will continue to use it as an addition to my gals diet.

This fresh frozen food is AMAZING! #1 most important thing is that my dog absolutely loves it! The very first night I offered it to her, she hesitated a little, sniffing at the bowl and wondering what this different stuff was. It didn't take long at all for her to get over her uncertainty before she polished off the food that night and then dove straight into her bowl the next night without a moment's hesitation! I received the Turkey mix, and it is truly incredible. You can see every bit of real, whole food that goes into the mixture, from the ground turkey bits, to scrambled eggs, to rice, to veggies. I looks nearly good enough for human consumption! The food has not caused any GI upset for my dog using it as a topper for her regular dry kibble. She enthusiastically devours her entire bowl of food and can't wait for dinner the next night. I am confident that she's getting fantastic nutrition as well. The frozen packs do require just a little forethought, as a new pack needs to be pulled out of the freezer the day before I plan to serve it. Since I'm only using it as a food topper, and not a full meal, I go through about a 14-oz packet every 3 days, and sometimes remembering to pull out that next frozen one escapes me. Not the end of the world, but it is one more thing to think about when most of us are already juggling all the things! Ultimately, I would absolutely love to keep feeding this food to my dog. It's on the pricey side, but I'd like to find ways to keep offering her some, not only because she loves it so much, but because I always feel better when feeding good quality and nutritious foods.
