Best Dog Food
Our dog used to only get dry kibble up until about 1 year ago. She would get what was supposed to be top of the line dry food but she didn’t seem to be doing well
Our dog used to only get dry kibble up until about 1 year ago. She would get what was supposed to be top of the line dry food but she didn’t seem to be doing well. So I decided to give nom nom a try. Within a month of switching her there was a HUGE difference in her activity and appearance! Her coat went from dull and rough to soft and shiny. She lost the weight that she couldn’t lose before no matter how much we cut back - it was approximately 10 lbs. Her eyes were clear again and didn’t have that hazy look to them, and her lipomas all disappeared. She’s turning 11 in October and I swear if we hadn’t made the change last year she wouldn’t be here today. It’s like she’s 4 years old again and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

Dry ice is dangerous to touch, breathe, and is generally toxic to humans and animals. Please investigate this so that others who may not know the danger of dry ice are not harmed. FYI the small piece of paper with a dry ice warning was frozen to one of the bags; fairly useless. Note: the food is great. This review is pointing out a flaw in Chewy's shipping.

I have two large dogs and both dogs absolutely loved this as a food topper. One of the dogs is pretty picky about wet food, but even he devoured his entire dish. Pro tip - after thawing it out, dunk the sealed package in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes. The dogs liked that way more than cold food. The only downside I really see is that this would be way too expensive for me to feed 150 lbs of dog every single day. It stretched pretty far as a food topper though. There's a bit of gravy in the package too, so you can really coat the kibble. And though it's too expensive for me, it oddly doesn't seem expensive for what it is - the value is there. It looks and smells like human food. So overall, very solid. 5/5. Both dogs loved it.

I received the Pork Nom Nom frozen food for my two dogs. I like to make them food myself, but do not always have the time. This is a great alternative and honestly, the dogs seem to enjoy it more than my cooking. I like that it smells like human food and I can easily identify the ingredients by sight. I was impressed by the shipping which was packaged with dry ice packs and insulation, so the food was frozen solid despite the above freezing temperature outside.

It wasn’t like that initially. My dogs absolutely loved this, but as I’ve noticed the color change/textural changes, they also don’t seem to want to eat it. Hopefully it was just a weird batch.

I was not sure about this Nom Nom frozen food topper when I ordered it, but I am honestly impressed. The servings are individually frozen, so you can thaw one at a time. It looks a bit strange, but it went well over my dog's dry food and he absolutely gobbled it up! It's a decent size serving with chunks of actual food clearly visible, instead of just looking like food mush. All in all, I am positive my dog would be pleased if I ordered more!

It arrived frozen, and the dry ice hadn’t yet evaporated. Once thawed, the potluck contents were impressively fresh looking. Needless to say, this is a crowd pleaser. The dogs loved it!

It came packed in ice and was still frozen buy the time I got it. With it being fresh food, this scored big points with me. The portion size is great. And I used it as a topper on their regular food. The 7 pouches lasted me weeks! It's super easy to prepare. I just put a pouch in my fridge and in thaws overnight. 1 pouch feeds both of my shih tzus for 2 days. My oldest girl loves this food. My younger girl however, doesnt. I do wish there were more options for protein. They offer Chicken, turkey or pork. I got the pork recipe. I personally am not fond of poultry for my dogs. But, this food was super easy on their digestion. I'm just not sure I would buy this product in the future.

My dog would not even taste it. He sniffed it once and wouldn’t go near it any of the times I tried to offer it to him. The herb smell is VERY strong to me as a human, so I can’t even imagine how strong it was for a dog nose. The scent is herbal and something between tabbouleh and Christmas. I will be donating the remainder of the frozen packs but would be surprised if any dog wants to eat it. Thankfully, Chewy refunded my purchase because they are an excellent company!
