So good it is confused for people food

My older dachshund has a sensitive stomach, so we need to be careful with her diet. This food absolutely fits the bill. It is people food, served for dogs! In fact, I have to keep it separate in the freezer because my husband thought it was frozen soup for the family. It is easy to defrost, I put it in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes. I feed half of the bag in the morning and half at night, it lasts fine in the fridge with just a clip attached. My dog obviously loves it and wolfs it down.

LilyJo, my 10 year old Pomeranian absolutely loves NomNom Chicken Cuisine. She’s not much of a picky eater but when 5pm comes around LilyJo is jumping at me, begging for her dinner. Chicken Cuisine looks and smells like people food. I don’t feel like I’m feeding her over processed, filled with chemicals food. Because Lily Jo is getting older I try to feed her a more balanced diet and NomNom Chicken Cuisine is just that, a balanced diet that she looks forward to eating everyday. I will be adding a few other NomNom recipes to her diet.

It contains chicken, sweet potatoes, squash, and spinach. It is a healthy addition to her food. It was simple to use. I used a small portion as a topper to her dry food. I got three servings out of the 14 ounce package. It is made with real meat and veggies. It was developed by vet nutritionists. I felt comfortable including it in Sadie's diet and she loves it.

However I purchased this item so I could give her a bit as a meal topper or healthy treat. I add about 1/4 cup to the top of her Royal Canine kibble and like everything else she gobbled it down quickly. 2nd: The pictured food in the ad for Chicken Cuisine looked so yummy and healthy! It actually looks NOTHING like what is pictured. See my pictures of the ad compared to the "mush" that you actually receive. At least I'm able to see the sweet potatoe and a few chunks of the other ingredients. Bottom line, the product listing picture is very misleading IMHO. 3rd. The food comes in plastic pouches which are a pain to open and empty. It would be much better if they came in actual hard containers with an easy to remove lid rather than bags that are hard to open and empty. May sound like a trivial complaint....until you actually work with the packaging. Bottom line is that my Becca loves the food. The list of ingredients reads pretty healthy for what I can tell and does not contain grain or peas. I will stick with this for a while as Becca likes it but could never afford to purchase this for meal size...only as a meal topper. This would probably be great for small dogs.

My dogs loved it. They could not get enough of it. I chose the chicken, but I think any flavor would have been a great hit. Another chewy product that went over and beyond my expectations.

I ended up with another dog recently who was infested with parasites and severely underweight. I bought a few different fresh food brands to try out for my other dog and he seemed to like one of them pretty well but eventually changed his mind. I decided to try this brand next and he loves it. He eats it up better than the others. He really needs to gain weight so I'm super happy he's finally eating full meals regularly now instead of picking at his bowl. Side note: my order was shipped pretty much immediately on Thursday and was supposed to arrive on Saturday. It ended up being delayed by a day and the ice packs melted. It was hot here so the food was thawed when I opened it up. Chewy sent out a replacement immediately. I can't say enough about their customer service. They have always been so quick to take action. I will forever be a customer of this great company.

My senior dog has numerous health issues, including Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which makes him turn down most food. This dog food is one of the only ones I don't have to coax him into eating. He clears his plate and asks for more sometimes, which I never thought I would see again. The food also doesn't look like a mushy unidentifiable glob like most human grade food I have purchased. You can seal real pieces of meat and veggies, and it smells like food I would eat. The packaging is solid, and easy to store. I would highly recommend to anyone with a picky eater or someone that wants to feed their loved one safe fresh food :)

I've home cooked for my dogs for 14 years. I've been wanting to see what these commercial "homemade" diets were like for a while. Honestly? Not impressed. Looks like mush, and smells like chemicals. Visually, the overwhelming ingredient appears to be sweet potatoes. The chicken is obviously dark meat, which is higher in fat and lower in protein than white meat (also cheaper). Couldn't see any of the other listed ingredients other than the spinach. My dogs liked it well enough, but for the price, you are better off learning how to cook for you dog yourself.

This was our first time feeding our three dogs wet dog food. Two of the three are quite picky, so I was sure how they were going to take to a new food, let alone a wet food. They all LOVE it! We use is as a topper for their dry kibble. The food is very good quality food with seemingly fresh ingredients. Virtually odorless too. Definitely a new staple in our house!
