Great quality fresh beef mash
I was really surprised and impressed with the care taken to ensure proper shipping of this Grain-Free Beef Mash and the quality of the food! The food came inside
I was really surprised and impressed with the care taken to ensure proper shipping of this Grain-Free Beef Mash and the quality of the food! The food came inside a very well insulated shipping box with dry ice and appropriate padding to keep everything in place. The food was still frozen solid when it arrived. Our dogs were immediately interested in the food even in its frozen state! I took one pouch out and left it in our fridge to thaw overnight; after opening the pouch I placed it into a re-sealable container. Honestly, the level of quality of the food was really astounding! It looks akin to a beef stew/mash or a Shepards pie mix. Fresh-looking carrots, potatoes, beef, peas and eggs make up this mash and the dogs absolutely devoured it and had no stomach upset whatsoever! Our American Bulldog is notorious for his sensitive stomach but this caused him no issues. Our beagle is a trash hound and will literally eat allllll the foods, including this one; but don't let that fool you! Even though she does not discriminate when it comes to eating, this stuff is still top-notch! I think the price could be a little limiting for those who have larger dogs and would therefore require a lot of this fresh mash; however, I definitely would buy this again and use it for treats and food toppers!

I decided to choose the beef because Max, my 5 year old pug, is currently on a hydrolyzed protein diet due to a chicken allergy. Max loves this food and he has had
I decided to choose the beef because Max, my 5 year old pug, is currently on a hydrolyzed protein diet due to a chicken allergy. Max loves this food and he has had no allergic reaction to it! It ships in insulated packaging with ice to keep it super cold. Once I received the package, I place it in the freezer and thaw one of the beef nom noms in the fridge over night at a time. Max has been eating this for about 5 days now and no complaints! His stool remains normal and he loves meal time even more now! For reference, 1 individual pack lasts him about 4 days (8 meals), and there are 7 packs in a bag, so roughly a month depending on how much your dog eats.

Personally, I do not think this is something I'd get again. One of my dogs would not touch it and he's usually not that picky. My other dog loved it, but then refused to eat her regular food for days after. My dogs are weird though so that is probably just an us kinda thing. From a human perspective, and considering the other options for frozen raw and cooked meals, I think that this food falls a little flat. I'm not a big fan of the specific ingredients they used and cooked frozen meals for dogs are just not something I agree with much, for my dogs. I could see how some dogs would really like this, and do really well on it. It's just not for me.

I decided to try it for my moms dog who is so picky. .he will skip 2 days of eating and then finally eat on the 3rd day. She's tried a lot of different food. Well her dog absolutely loves it too. The package size is deceiving in that once it’s thawed there’s a lot more food than it appears to be when frozen. I was pleasantly surprised. I love the variety to choose from as well as I have two dogs who need/react to different foods.
